Halloween Across The Boston Tech Community - 2018 Edition

When it comes to Halloween, the Boston tech community doesn't mess around. This is our fourth year publishing this slideshow and each year the costumes keep getting better and better.

This year, you'll see a lot of Disney-related costumes, famous musicians, The Wizard of Oz... but you'll see some incredibly elaborate costumes like a Transformer, some hysterical groups having fun with their theming, and even the ubiquitous Deadpool hanging around! We also highlighted some of the parties the companies had.

It looks like everyone brought in the Halloween spirit into the offices! Enjoy the slideshow below!

Bullhorn hosted its annual Halloween costume and decorating contest between all departments in its Boston headquarters. Each department dressed as a theme of their choice, and they decorated their respective areas accordingly. The winning department was selected based on creativity and execution by third-party judges. This year's winner was the Sales team, which dressed as the Running of the Bulls. The Marketing team, which dressed as modern nightmares, paced second, and the Development team, which dressed as Pac-Man, took third.

Salsify really brought out their creative sides this year and made the day so much fun. Some of the fan favorites were a salad, the Marketing team dressed up as shades of blue referencing our conference rooms, and some employee's dressing as other employees! They LOVE Halloween!

TRUX's first annual Halloween costume contest was a lot of fun and we had costumes that were truly unique (see Undisputed Champion, Zorro and Men in Black). Three prizes were given this year, the funniest being the 404 Error costume, The Demon of Trux was crowned Scariest and the "Smart Cookie" was Most Creative! Our Halloween Trux tradition has begun.

Bottomline Technologies conducts an annual Halloween Floor War. Each floor sets a theme and decorates, when employees bring their kids in for trick-or-treat the kids vote on who had the best floor! This year we had strong competitors with Jurassic Park, Harry Potter, and Camping!
