GasBuddy's mission is to help consumers avoid paying full price for fuel. As the leading source for crowdsourced, real-time fuel prices at more than 150,000 gas station convenience stores in the U.S., Canada and Australia, millions of drivers use the GasBuddy app and website every day to find gas station convenience stores based on fuel prices, location and ratings/reviews. GasBuddy’s first-of-its-kind fuel savings program, Pay with GasBuddy, has saved Americans more than $7 million at the pumps since its launch in 2017. The company’s business solutions suite, GasBuddy Business Pages, provides Fuel Marketers and Retailers their best opportunity to maintain their station information, manage their brand, and promote to their target consumer audience.

Chief Executive Officer
Sarah is GasBuddy’s Chief Executive Officer and brings more than a decade of business and product leadership in the payments technology arena, most recently with Heartland Payment Systems (acquired by Global Payments). While at Heartland, Sarah served as COO, and subsequently CEO, of Boston ePOS start-up, Leaf (a Heartland acquisition); co-invented an end-to-end encryption product; and lead digital transformation strategy. Sarah is active in the community, serving on the advisory board for ROCA Young Mother’s program and as a mentor for Smarter In The City cohorts.
Chief Technology Officer
Max is GasBuddy’s Chief Technology officer. Prior to GasBuddy he co-founded Fig Card, a mobile payments company that was purchased by eBay/PayPal in 2011 after which he became PayPal’s chief engineer and built and launched PayPal Here. Prior to that he started a small technology shop called Arts Alliance Labs, which spun off the next startup, Povo.com, a hyperlocal wiki. He graduated from MIT Media Lab in 1995 and co-founded Firefly, which was sold to Microsoft where he went on to design Microsoft Passport. In 1999 he co-founded PeoplePC and eventually sold that company to Earthlink.
Max is a father of three and a long time house music DJ.
Chief Financial Officer
Charlie is GasBuddy’s Chief Financial Officer. Before joining GasBuddy’s management team, Charlie was CFO of Oil Price Information Service where he played a key role in the sale of the company to IHS Markit in 2016. Prior to OPIS, Charlie was consultant to United Communications Group on the acquisitions of several B2B and B2C information services assets, including GasBuddy in 2013. Prior to UCG, Charlie was Vice President of MCG Capital Corporation where he executed investments in over 100 lower, middle-market businesses from 2002 to 2011. Charlie graduated from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business in 2002 and lives with his wife and three children in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
Chief Marketing Officer
Michael DiLorenzo “Dilo” brings more than 20 years of experience in brand, communications, content/social media, acquisition marketing and CRM. Most recently, Dilo was the senior vice president of marketing at Drizly where he helped the company seize first-mover advantage pursuing a $100 billion opportunity for on-demand, e-commerce in off-premise retail beverage alcohol sales. Prior to Drizly he was VP of marketing at Rue La La, focused on audience development through social media and content marketing, new technologies and analytics. Before Rue La La he was senior director at the National Hockey League, where he formed the League's social media department and marketing strategy. Dilo is a father of twin boys and lives outside the Boston area.
Executive Vice President, Strategic Partnerships
Mark is responsible for developing market, client and partner opportunities across GasBuddy’s lines of business in advertising, fuel retailer services and mobile payments. Prior to joining GasBuddy, Mark was the chief revenue officer at Gameface Media, where he was responsible for securing the company’s top revenue-generating partnerships with brands such as Reebok, Saucony, and New Balance. Prior to Gameface, he was senior vice president of revenue, partnerships and brand acquisition at Rue La La where he helped the company monetize its audience and media capabilities, with partnerships ranging from British Airways and Citibank to Dell and 20th Century Fox. Mark’s business development career also spans more than 10 years of running media sales organizations, including iHeartMedia and New England Cable News.
Executive Vice President, Advertising Sales
Jordan leads GasBuddy’s advertising sales efforts. Prior to GasBuddy, Jordan was at Waze, the driving navigation app acquired by Google in 2013, where he was the head of sales for North America. He was the first U.S. sales hire and grew the Waze sales team to 40+ reps across 10 offices. Prior to Waze, Jordan was the senior director of national advertising sales at Bizrate and Shopzilla where he helped launch, develop and manage the national display monetization and was instrumental in the launch of their shopper behavioral targeting platform. Jordan spent 4 years at Shopping.com, acquired by eBay. He began his career in display advertising at HotJobs, acquired by Yahoo in 2002.
Senior Vice President of Payments
Dave leads the development of GasBuddy’s payment products. Prior to GasBuddy, Dave was CIO for the Cumberland Farms/Gulf Oil Group, where he developed the groundbreaking SmartPay mobile payment app. SmartPay is now one of the largest mobile wallets in the country, and the first in the petroleum convenience retailing space. Prior to Cumberland Gulf, Dave held executive positions in major energy firms, focused on information technology and operations. Dave graduated from New York University with a Masters in Business Administration. He has three children and sails whenever he gets a chance.
Vice President, Engineering
As VP of Engineering at GasBuddy, Bob is responsible for building out the engineering and IT service capabilities for GasBuddy in support of its business and operating goals. Prior to GasBuddy, Bob was the head of engineering at Boston companies Soofa and Evertrue. Previously, he worked at PayPal, Where and VistaPrint.
