The Role
Vault Safety is growing in 2025! We are hiring a significant number of consultants so we need someone who will be focused on Training and Onboarding. You will be educated on Vault Safety and then you will become the Onboarding Lead. What better way to become an expert on Vault Safety.
The Safety Consultant - Training Lead will be responsible for the strategic design, development, implementation, and maintenance of training plans and courses targeted to internal employees, partners and customers. You will be instrumental in helping train and prepare the Safety Professional Services team to support a growing pipeline of project work.
What Youll Do
- Work under the direction of Practice Manager, Vault Safety to shape a course curriculum and content for the Veeva Vault Safety applications.
- Manage and ensure the ongoing success of the Safety Onboarding Program and Customer and Partner Training offerings.
- Create individualized training plans for new hires to quickly onboard and prepare consultants for project work in specific roles.
- Work closely with Professional Services consultants and managers to ensure training is aligned with business needs.
- Administer training content in Veevas internal Learning Management System.
- Own and organize training content. Delegate creation and revisions of content if necessary.
- Proactively perform training needs assessments and respond strategically to evolving business needs.
- Strategically develop effective training programs and materials, making regular modifications and improvements, when necessary.
- Communicate effectively across multiple cross-functional teams. Harness relationships.
- Ensure consistency in the delivery and application of department policies, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Technical Communications, English, Education, Instructional Design or equivalent.
- 3+ years educating people on technical enterprise software solutions. This experience may be pure training/instructional design work or may be system implementation/consulting work with a heavy emphasis on training..
- Proven ability to quickly learn industry terminology, processes, and systems in order to design and develop effective training courses
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with subject matter experts and align curriculum development priorities with business needs
- Demonstrate a solid understanding and application of adult learning principles and training evaluation
- Excellent verbal, reading, and writing ability in English
- An eye for quality and committed focus on customer success, employee success, speed, and doing the right thing
- Flexible, collaborative, team-oriented individual who shows initiative and holds themselves and others accountable
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills
- Travel to deliver on-site training upon request (up to 20%); international travel is possibly required
Nice to Have
- Background in Pharmacovigilance, Life Sciences and/or Veeva products is a huge plus
- Background in the SaaS domain

Compensation
- Base pay: $80,000 - $120,000
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
