The New Business Manager, Sales - Mid Market will primarily focus on overseeing the day-to-day operations of their direct team. They will have discretion over activities such as coaching, performance management, and setting targets for sales reps. Their impact is seen in the team's ability to meet short-term goals and targets, as well as in fostering a high-performance culture within their team. This role will be hands-on, directly overseeing the day-to-day activities of the team, more hands-on than the other segments. Would be responsible for coaching, guiding, and motivating your team members to achieve their goals. This role would involve providing feedback, resolving conflicts via escalation, and ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Primary Duties:
- Manage a dynamic team of sales professionals focused on identifying and securing new business opportunities within the mid-market sector.
- Define and implement sales goals that are in sync with the broader organizational objectives, ensuring a targeted approach to market penetration.
- Craft innovative sales strategies tailored to capture new business opportunities, keeping ahead of market dynamics.
- Actively coach and mentor team members, enhancing their sales skills and performance through continuous feedback and professional development.
- Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance data to identify trends, forecast future performance, and implement improvement measures.
- Establish and nurture strong, lasting relationships with clients and prospects to build trust and foster loyalty.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions and regular performance evaluations to ensure team proficiency and motivation.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of market trends and competitor activities, using this knowledge to adapt strategies and maintain competitive advantage.
- Regularly report on sales activities, results, and insights to upper management, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making.
- Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
- 1+ years of experience as a frontline leader
- 3+ years of experience in a selling role
- Previous experience in managing a transactional sales team or related role
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities to guide and enhance team performance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, crucial for managing client relationships and team dynamics
- Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience leading a team of sellers who also meet or exceed their sales goals
- High level of integrity and the capacity to operate with discretion and professionalism
Working Conditions
Normal office environment. Some travel may be required.

This is a hybrid role, working a minimum of three days per week from one of our US office locations.
The US base salary range for this position is $107,250 to $143,000 + variable compensation + benefits ($195,000-$260,000 OTE).
