Derek Schoettle was appointed CEO of ZoomInfo in July 2018 to accelerate the company’s growth from a leading sales and marketing performance management product to an intelligent, dynamic customer engagement platform, with ZoomInfo’s best in class data serving as its backbone.
Schoettle has more than 20 years of experience leading high-growth technology companies and large scale, platform businesses, bringing disruptive technologies to market and achieving commercial success. As General Manager of the Watson & Cloud Platform business at IBM, Schoettle was responsible for overall go-to-market, business operations and customer success. Prior to joining IBM through its Cloudant acquisition, Schoettle served as CEO of the NoSQL database-as-a-service (DBaaS) provider.
Before joining Cloudant, Schoettle was VP, CME Sales, at Vertica Systems, which was acquired by HP in 2011. He also served as VP of Sales and Business Development at Intellireach, which was acquired by Infocrossing.
Schoettle is a member of the Forbes Technology Council, a board member of MassTLC and is active in a number of local start-ups. He holds an MBA from Babson College’s Olin Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Dickinson College.
Chief Financial Officer
John Rogers is the Chief Financial Officer at ZoomInfo and oversees the financial and administrative operations of the company. He is a seasoned executive with a wealth of experience growing young companies into successful ongoing businesses.
Prior to joining ZoomInfo, Mr. Rogers was the Chief Financial Officer of ikaSystems (sold to Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan) and Arcadia Systems, both SaaS providers to the healthcare industry. Mr. Rogers held the Chief Financial Officer position in public technology companies Cognex and Nuance Communications. Mr. Rogers was also the Chief Financial Officer for the venture-backed SaaS company, CashEdge (acquired by Fiserv).
Mr. Rogers started his career as a CPA with the public accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers. He earned a B.S. in accounting from Bentley University.
Chief Technology Officer
As ZoomInfo’s CTO, Leo Laferriere is focused on every major system the company builds, from all of the data processing to product delivery systems. No stranger to technology, Laferriere brings over 30 years of experience in the industry. Prior to joining ZoomInfo, Laferriere held positions at several companies including Netegrity, an identity and access software provider. He served as the lead architect for SiteMinder Federation services and also holds a patent in his name. When he’s not busy making ZoomInfo products efficient, scalable, and secure, Laferriere enjoys spending time with his family.
Vice President of Product & Marketing
Hila Nir heads the highly energetic marketing and product teams at ZoomInfo. Nir is responsible for lead generation and branding strategy through inbound and outbound marketing, including email campaigns, website optimization, content marketing, advertising, social media, webinars, and events.
As head of the product team, Nir is responsible for creating and executing an integrated roadmap for the company from product planning, to product development, to go-to-market strategy.
VP of Corporate Development
Phil is the head of ZoomInfo's corporate development team. He spends his time establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic business partners. Prior to ZoomInfo, Phil worked as a consultant for a variety of companies in the software and business intelligence markets. Additionally, he was a founding member of the OneSource (now known as Avention) management team, most recently serving as president for eight years. Prior to his role as president, Phil held the role of SVP Global Sales & Marketing as well as managing the European operation.
VP, Research and Development
As Vice President of Research & Development, Nir Keren is the driving force behind ZoomInfo’s technological innovations. An entrepreneur at heart, Keren was the Founder and CTO of AdSAP, an all-in-one online advertising platform. He was also the founder and CTO of ONDiGO, a sales-automation platform, which automates tedious sales tasks and provides salespeople with a daily personalized action list for closing more deals. Prior to that, he served as an embedded software engineer at Ceragon Networks in Tel Aviv.
