The Sr. SEM Manager will own the strategy, planning, execution, and optimization of ZoomInfo's paid search and display campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other paid media channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a passion for digital marketing. You will be responsible for driving SEM-attributed customer acquisition, from awareness through to conversion, while working cross-functionally with teams including creative, analytics, and sales.
You will also manage SEM-related vendor relationships, optimize large-scale campaigns, and ensure best-in-class performance and budget management. As a channel owner, youll provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members and contribute to the overall SEM and digital media strategy at ZoomInfo.
What Youll Do:
- Campaign Ownership: Own the end-to-end SEM process, including strategy development, execution, optimization, and reporting on key campaigns
- Paid Media Strategy: Develop and implement SEM plans that align with business objectives and drive revenue growth through paid search
- Optimization & Performance: Continuously analyze and optimize campaign performance, leveraging data and insights to improve CPC, CPA, ROAS, and overall efficiency
- A/B Testing & Experimentation: Design, implement, and analyze A/B tests to improve ad copy, targeting, landing page experience, and overall SEM performance. Work with CRO manager and Sr. Performance Marketing managers to launch landing page tests
- Keyword Strategy: Manage and grow keyword portfolios, researching, testing, and expanding keyword lists to drive high-intent traffic
- Utilize SEO tools to ensure sufficient keyword and ad targets
- Analytics & Reporting: Develop and maintain SEM performance reports, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Communicate findings to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with creative, product, and analytics teams to ensure ads, landing pages, and targeting strategies align with business goals and deliver optimal performance
- Budget Management: Manage SEM budgets effectively, ensuring optimal spend allocation to maximize campaign impact while staying within financial targets.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Stay up-to-date with search trends, competitor strategies, and industry best practices to keep campaigns ahead of the curve
What You Bring
- 7 years of hands-on experience in SEM/PPC, including campaign management and optimization. Google Ads editor/Bing editor experience is a must
- Strong proficiency with ad serving platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads); familiarity with SFDC/Marketo and orchestration/ABM platforms. Knowledge of robust SEO tools and optimizations (GA4)
- Advanced analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions and optimize performance. Familiarity with Looker, Tableau, Datarama or any other visualization software
- Expertise in keyword research, bid management, and budget optimization.
- Proven experience running successful paid search campaigns, with a focus on B2B marketing.
- Strong understanding of SEM best practices, trends, and industry developments. Familiarity with PerfromanceMAx, DemandGen, Display and Social ads is preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment with a passion for driving growth through data and numbers.
- Advanced analytical skills with practical experience using statistical analysis techniques and reporting tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Datarama etc., to derive actionable insights from campaign performance data.
Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with large-scale campaigns in a SaaS or tech environment.
- Familiarity with additional digital marketing channels, including paid social or display advertising.
- Google Ads/Google Analytics/SA360 certification is a plus
