The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

**There are two positions available. This is a ranged posting - Analyst, Sr Analyst or Consultant. Level offered is dependent on candidate experience and qualifications at manager discretion. These roles may have in-office requirements based on candidate location.**
Description
The US Retail Markets (USRM) Product Management Personal Lines Auto Underwriting Effectiveness team is seeking a talented, motivated individual to join our group. Responsibilities for this role include implementing Quote Flow Control (QFC) and UW model changes & leading analysis to recommend other QFC actions for all brands, states, and channels. You will partner with groups across Product and USRM functions to develop countrywide and state specific strategies to drive profitable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately calibrate, implement and post-monitor state and channel-level Quote Flow Control changes.
- Partner directly with DSOs and other Product/USRM functions to adjust state QFC rates & underlying models to achieve state, brand, and channel-level profit & growth objectives.
- Query data using SAS/Snowflake to perform complex analyses to evaluate UW performance at a state level, proactively recommending and executing solutions that drive profitable growth.
- Lead multiple projects of varying complexity and present updates to Auto Product leadership and cross functional teams
- Sr Analyst/Consultant level would partner with Auto Delivery to drive alignment across Underwriting & Pricing programs
- Support the development of custom UW strategy and model builds for non-franchise states
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, economics, statistics, or other quantitative field Minimum 4 year's relevant work experience, typically 6 years.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data software packages (e.g., SAS, Snowflake).
- Knowledgeable with data sources, tools, and the business (lines, systems, pricing plans), predictive modeling, and code (e.g., SQL).
- Must have strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision making and communication skills.
- Experience managing projects preferred.
