The Cell Test Team at Symbotic is looking for a Co-op student to help accelerate automated testing of industrial controls hardware.
What youll do

Design and build a solution for testing a I/O blocks with configurable ports, input, output, and IOLink.

Write procedures on utilizing I/O block test solution.

Document and store all design work and procedures.

Assist/support the Cell test team when performing test procedures.
What youll need
-
Electrical, Electro-Mechanical or Instrumentation background.

Experience with Arduino or Raspberry Pi is required

Experience with Rockwell PLC is required
-
Experience programming IOLink or other industrial communication protocols desired.

Basic understanding of software testing practices

Enjoys learning new technologies, skills, and techniques as well as teaching them to others

Strong decision-making skills
Our Environment

Some physical tasks, such as light maintenance or equipment handling, may be required.
