Overview:
We’re looking for Associate Software Engineers to join a new Engineering program at HealthEdge. This is a full time position, benefits eligible position for upcoming and recent college graduates. You will be joining a cohort of fellow engineers and given the opportunity to learn with a combination of hands on applied work and an introduction to the healthcare industry.
The program is designed to provide Apprentices level resources with a technical academic background with on-the-job training and close mentorship opportunities that maximize opportunity to level up into engineering professional roles. With unlimited access to the senior members of the Executive team and Engineering teams, you will be given an opportunity to work independently and as a part of a group on real problems facing healthcare.

What you’ll do:
- Rotate within 3 of our Core Engineering groups every 3 months during your first year.
- Gain exposure to various technical challenges to build upon existing knowledge
- Learn how to conduct code reviews and ensure exceptional code quality
- Learn how to build robust, lasting, and scalable products
- Learn how to iterate quickly without compromising quality
What you bring:
- Good CS fundamentals
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly analyze and contextualize information
- New graduate with a completed BS/BA or MS in a technical field such as Computer Science or equivalent
- You have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Possess organizational skills and a healthy respect for deadlines
- A self-starter with a “figure it out” attitude
- A high level of professional integrity and confidentiality
- An interest in gaining exposure to various aspects of Software Engineering
- A passion for innovation
