HealthEdge Company Overview
HealthEdge is an agile and innovative 21st century software company that provides modern, disruptive technology that enables healthcare payors to radically innovate, drastically reduce costs, and efficiently address the business imperatives of the evolving healthcare economy. An award-winning company, HealthEdge is headquartered in Burlington, MA with a development office in Powell, OH.
Many payors choose HealthEdge because we understand that business as usual is no longer an option. To compete in the new healthcare marketplace, you must use technology to reduce costs, engage your members and providers to improve quality of care and outcomes, support next-generation healthcare business models and achieve regulatory compliance.
Our customers realize that transforming their organizations to achieve their 21st century business goals cannot be done with outdated legacy platforms, aging satellite systems and expensive, error-prone manual processes. As a result, they chose HealthEdge to succeed in the next-generation healthcare economy.
HealthEdge provides the only integrated financial, administrative and clinical platform for healthcare payors. Whether you are preparing to participate in health insurance exchanges, accountable care organizations, chronic condition and care coordination initiatives, pay-for-performance programs or value-based benefits models; adopt new standards like ICD-10; or create a more efficient organization, the HealthRules product suite will enable you to achieve your goals.
HealthEdge was founded by Albert Waxman of Psilos Group and Rob Gillette in December, 2004. In January, 2005, the company acquired over $100 million of intellectual property and other assets. This technology served as the foundation for the patented, award-winning HealthRules product suite.
