Brief Overview:
The Senior Manager, Proposals (RFx) will manage the team responsible for developing, coordinating and delivering compelling RFP (Request for Proposal) and RFI (Request for Information) responses for all lines of business including Government, Health Systems, Health Plans and other healthcare organizations.
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide overall leadership and management of the team responsible for generating responses to RFPs and RFIs.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all submissions meet company standards and are tailored to the specific needs of the prospective client.
- Lead and manage the evaluation and overall proposal development process (RFPs and RFIs), ensuring systems are leveraged efficiently and result in robust, scalable processes.
- Analyze prospects needs and collaborate with leaders, stakeholders and subject matter experts to develop the most compelling response to maximize success of the proposal.
- Maintain tight, proactive communication with proposal and business unit leadership to ensure all necessary resources and activities are available to achieve a successful proposal submission.
- Leverage Qvidian knowledge base for proposal development and develop process to continually update content within the system.
- Track RFP outcomes and trends and share data on a regular basis with leadership.
- Manage multiple proposal tasks with oftentimes rapid turnaround deadlines.
Qualifications:
- 5 10 years related experience in RFP/Proposals management from opportunity through submittal, preferably in the healthcare field
- Proven ability to effectively lead a team and meet stringent deadlines
- Bachelors Degree
- Exceptional persuasive writing skills, including editing and proof reading
- Government proposal management experience for IT solutions and services procurements preferred
- Experience with Upland Qvidian RFP Automation Software preferred

The typical base salary range for this position is $136880-$188210. The actual salary offer will ultimately depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, relevant education, experience, complexity or specialization of talent, and other objective factors. In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for an annual bonus based on a combination of company performance and employee performance. Long-term incentive and short-term variable compensation may be offered as part of the compensation package dependent on the role. Some roles may be commission based, in which case the total compensation will be based on a commission and the above range may not be an accurate representation of total compensation.
