As a Quality Control Technician you will support the development and implementation of a world-class quality system and drive the development of quality processes that are core to the companys success. This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to convert to full-time employee.
Responsibilities
- Inspect incoming parts, in-process, and assembled devices to ensure quality is within set parameters
- Respect and enforce the principles of full traceability for products and components
- Collaborate with the Quality Engineering and R&D Engineering departments as needed to assist in the validation of components/finished goods
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Required skills and experience:
- Motivated and looking to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical skills, and excellent knowledge of theoretical and practical quality control fundamentals.
- Technical associates degree; or 1-3+ years of equivalent education and professional experience
- Experience with calipers, comparators and micrometers
- Experience utilizing blueprints and/or drawings as part of the inspection process
- Experience in lab and/or manufacturing environments
- Highly organized, detailed oriented, self-starter
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Nice to have skills:
- Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) inspections is preferred
- Proficiency with basic Microsoft Excel formulas
- Experience with data reporting and non-conformance reports (NCRs)
- Experience with OGP Smartscope vision measurement systems
- Medical device and clean room experience
