The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Were looking for a collaborative problem solver to join our Reporting team within the North America Data Office!
You will be the Reporting lead in a highly visible, enterprise-wide integration effort between US Retail Markets (USRM) Small Commercial and Global Risk Solutions North America (GRS NA) Middle Market. New Business thresholds will be adjusted, and USRM Small Commercial will transfer 5,000+ accounts and $750M+ in premium to GRS NA Middle Market over the next few years. You will develop the reporting capabilities required for the new and existing business moving to Middle Market; to include financial and operational reporting, Quality assurance reporting, and the development of productivity metrics. You will work in a cross-functional POD that operates as a single unit to handle all aspects of reporting development and maintenance.
The ideal candidate possesses strong data and technical skills (data modeling, SQL, SAS, Power BI, Tableau, Teradata, Redshift), stakeholder management, project management, communication, and problem-solving skills. We are looking for a proactive thinker that can navigate ambiguity to arrive at clear reporting requirements, collaborate across organizational silos with internal functions and external contractors, and partner with peers to gain expert level knowledge of the current data and reporting landscape.
You will be required to go into the office twice a week if you reside within 50 miles of one of the following offices: Bala Cynwyd, PA; Boston, MA; Hoffman Estates, IL; Indianapolis, IN; Lake Oswego, OR; Las Vegas, NV; Plano, TX; Suwanee, GA; Syracuse, NY; Tampa, FL; or Weatogue, CT. Responsibilities:
- Develops, updates, and analyzes metrics used to determine operational performance, staffing needs, productivity, or other measures deemed valuable to an organization.
- Owns report development for reports/dashboards considered complex in nature.
- Uses data visualization tools to further business insights.
- Develops, modifies, and distributes standard and ad hoc reports/dashboards to better understand the overall business and/or unit.
- Analyzes information to identify trends, patterns, gaps and insights using descriptive analytics.
- Receives, evaluates and responds to data-related inquiries by applying knowledge of data and business operations and obtaining information from various sources.
- Partner with contractors to deliver operational data and reporting.
Qualifications
- Displays strong research, problem solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Advanced business operations knowledge to include understanding the function`s value chain and market conditions
- Advanced influencing, relationship management & presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of available data sources, systems, and software.
- Strong ability to support change and impart value within an organization
- Strong project management skills as part of implementing business process changes
- Advanced knowledge of available data sources, strengths and shortcomings
- May also be relevant based on the particular needs of the position: Advanced knowledge of Excel and strong knowledge of database software
- Solid knowledge of business intelligence tools
- Competencies typically acquired through a Bachelor`s degree or equivalent experience in addition to 6+ years of relevant experience to include business analysis work
- Advanced degree preferred
