Summary:
The FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in providing key financial analysis and insights to the organization. This position involves delivering detailed analytical support to senior management through various financial and operational analyses, budgeting and forecasting, trend analysis, business insights, qualitative assessments of risks and opportunities, and recommendations based on financial data.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership to manage monthly and quarterly revenue forecasts.
- Facilitate the company's revenue model, segmented by product, and update it for revised bookings and churn.
- Partner with RevOps to develop short- and long-term revenue plans.
- Work with management and senior leadership to build annual budgets.
- Challenge business partner plans and assumptions when necessary, establish relationships with business partners, and proactively address issues.
- Ensure reporting accuracy, monitor forecast accuracy, understand drivers of variances, and provide insightful commentary and analysis for current and future periods.
- Analyze, prepare, and present variance analysis based on actual results compared to historical results, budgets, and forecasts.
- Assist in the preparation of MD&A, Board of Directors presentations, and other external and internal reporting.
- Produce long-term financial models.
- Perform ad-hoc business analyses and financial modeling.
- Identify and implement opportunities to resolve finance issues and improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations.
What Success Looks Like:
In 3 months:
- Develop a strong understanding of Bamboo Health’s business processes, strategy, and financials.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across the company to understand priorities and establish joint objectives.
- Deliver monthly and quarterly financial reporting with detailed analysis.
In 6 months:
- Gain a deep understanding of the business drivers that impact Bamboo Health’s financials.
- Demonstrate the ability to create ad-hoc financial analyses to inform management decision-making.
In 12 months:
- Successfully support the annual budget process.
- Establish yourself as a trusted partner among leadership.
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Salesforce.com, Adaptive Planning, or Netsuite (preferred but not required).
- Experience with high-growth companies is a plus.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams, including leadership.
- High level of judgment, analytical ability, and creativity in solving problems requiring original and innovative solutions.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently, effectively managing tasks and driving projects forward without constant oversight.
