Summary:
We are actively seeking a Vice President of Business Development to help develop, scope, manage, and execute our portfolio of existing and emerging behavioral health care coordination solutions. The territory will be national in scope with focus on our top 20 strategic States. Coordination among multiple state agencies that may include Medicaid, Department of Health, Mental Health and Behavioral Health will be part of the Business Development lifecycle. Effective collaboration with internal stakeholders to establish market strategy and buying trends is a critical part of the job description. Knowledge of existing Behavioral and Mental Health infrastructure contractors and Federal funding initiatives (Advanced Planning Documents and 1115 Waiver) and other Federal funding protocol is also a required skillset. This position will report to the SVP of Growth.
What You’ll Do:

Working with Behavioral Health senior leadership teams, you will position a wide range of Bamboo Health solutions designed to assist Behavioral Health, Mental Health and Medicaid agencies comply with various legislative compliance requirements.

Focus on whole person care within the Behavioral Health population will be a key strategic component that will drive product solutioning.

Deepen relationships with key Behavioral Health, Mental Health and Medicaid senior leadership.

Create a Business Development plan focused on deployment and implementation of Bamboo Intelligence Hub (BIH), OpenBeds, 988 Crisis and Justice Involved solutions.

Work closely with Product Strategy, Behavioral Health Solutioning, External Affairs and Engineering resources on new product development.

Collaborate with External Affairs to identify funding for new Behavioral and Mental Health project initiatives.

Working knowledge of Bamboo Health organizational structure to include key product, sales support, marketing and engineering resources.

Onboarding with all available sales augmentation resources (SalesForce, GovWin, etc.)

Working knowledge of key opportunities within your territory to include all known procurement events.

Established relationships with strategic partners with customer engagement.

Identification of key state decision makers within your territory with outreach and solution positioning well underway.

Sales action plan created towards supporting quota attainment.
In 12 months…

State RFP/RFI engagement within defined territory.

Opportunity pipeline established to achieve and/or exceed bookings quota.

Competitive landscape identified with key mitigation activity towards positioning Bamboo Health solutions for success.

What You Need:

A mission-driven focus with a passion for spearheading change in complex healthcare environments, awareness of payer/provider reimbursement models, and interoperability/healthcare tech trends

10+ years’ experience in Behavioral and Mental Health Business Development/Sales and solution development

Strong analytical skills & a track record of developing frameworks to prioritize complex opportunities and drive revenue growth

Exceptional communicator & storyteller to drive adoption of innovative product offerings

Exceptional organizational skills and senior-level relationship management skills

Strong understanding of current trends & changes happening in healthcare & healthcare IT

Exceptional ability to balance strategic approach with results-oriented deal-making

Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred in Business Administration, Healthcare Management or a related field

Experience with high-growth companies a plus
