Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled, highly organized and motivated ETL Developer with a strong background in scripting languages like Python, C#, Shell along with SQL and NoSQL database expertise, to join our dynamic team. Experience with Airflow will be a bonus. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in development, support, and optimizations of ETL processes. They will engage with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams including product, support, QA, business partners and customers to ensure that our product meets the highest standards of performance and reliability.

Your Impact:
- Design, Implement and Support ETL processes that process large healthcare data sets
- Develop new features and enhancements to match product releases
- Recommend and design best practices for performant data loads.
- Deploy, Orchestrate and Monitor jobs
- Create: process, architecture and deployment documents
- Interact with customers to troubleshooting technical issues.
- Perform Production Support activities, analyze issues, provide effective and immediate solutions
- Actively participate in team meetings and scrum activities
- Communicate effectively
- Provide high quality work and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Provide occasional support during weekends.
- Expected to work during EST business hours to ensure alignment with client operations and support needs.
- Seek out and embrace feedback, take on tough assignments to improve skills, keep knowledge and skills up-to-date and turn mistakes into learning opportunities.
- Perform all responsibilities in compliance with all HealthEdge policies, including without limitation those related to information privacy and security.
- Ready to learn and maintain proficiency in using HealthEdge’s platform, understanding HealthEdge and its partner products and services.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years hands-on coding/scripting experience in Python, C#, Shell
- 3+ years’ experience working with SQL, query optimizations, writing stored procedures and functions
- Prior exposure to Airflow
- Knowledge on Healthcare data and EDI files like 834, 278, 837, 999
- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB
- Comfortable with version control systems like Bitbucket/Git
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience working with ticketing tools such as JIRA.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to work on multiple initiatives at once and be able to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Self-starting, energetic, result-oriented individual to support our growing business.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Bonus Points:
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- ETL development experience using Talend Studio
- Familiarity with Claim systems like Facets, QNXT and Health Rules Payor
- Knowledge on Azure pipelines
- Hands-on experience on messaging platforms such as Azure Service Bus/Kafka
