Exposing individuals to all the amazing opportunities that are available in the field of computer science should start early and there's no doubt, the high school years are a prime opportunity.
In its 6th year, the NYC Computer Science Opportunity Fair (CS Fair) was held yesterday at Armory Track on Fort Washington Ave. It is the city's largest annual college and career inspiration event for public high school students, which is organized by Tech:NYC, CSNYC, and Microsoft.
Over 2,200 students from all five boroughs were exposed to lots of hands-on activities, learning exercises, and over 60 exhibitors.
