CMT is looking for a collaborative, customer-committed, and creative Office Manager II who wants to join us in making roads safer by making drivers better!
Responsibilities:
- Use independent judgment and discretion to own all office-related items and issues, including stock inventory, swag inventory, keeping the office clean, working with building maintenance as necessary, basic accounting and reconciliation, managing day porter etc.
- Manage and support US-based offices. This includes acting as the main point of contact for anything facilities related including maintaining the relationship with building management, and acting as the liaison between leadership and real estate teams
- Work closely with international facilities teams on maintaining equitable standards across global offices such as updating brand/design items, sending swag, event details etc.
- Manage the front reception desk, which includes being the first point of contact for employees and visitors. Address ad hoc concerns as they arise
- Develop, implement and maintain facilities and operations related documentation, such as policies and processes, health and safety guidelines, and other related procedures (home office reimbursement, travel/lodging, etc.)
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
- Work with People Operations and FP&A on appropriate budgeting exercises and adhere to said budget - actively managing all office-related expenses
- Work with People Operations to plan events to support our team and improve our community, like social and volunteer opportunities, events, etc., in addition to supporting other teams' events such as offsites, hackathons, etc.
- Coordinate logistics and ad hoc tasks when necessary for the People Operations department and Leadership team regarding new hires, employee events, executive sessions, large meetings on site etc.
- Additional tasks as they arise
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent years of experience and/or certification
- 2+ years of relevant working experience (Office admin, EA etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A positive attitude, helpful and respectful
- Passion towards problem solving & strong data-based decision making to meet deadlines
- Experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information
- Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work
- Excellent attention to detail and collaboration skills
- Ability to be in the office Monday through Thursday, with an occasional Friday every month or two.
