Americas Test Kitchen is seeking a Culinary Production Coordinator who will join our Culinary Production team and provide culinary, planning and administrative support for our television productions, as well as video and photo shoots. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of professional culinary experience. This individual must be committed, meticulously organized and detail-oriented, a self-starter who is comfortable juggling tasks in a deadline-driven team environment where priorities shift quickly.
Responsibilities:
TV Pre-Production:

Support in creating prep lists
-
Ingredient Management: create shopping lists, place orders through shopping team

Support talent rehearsals
-
Support back kitchen recipe practice
-
Manage Kitchen Set-up
TV Production:
-
Ingredient Management: receiving, QC, re-orders, manage protein defrost
TV Post-Production:
-
Kitchen break-down and re-set
-
Photo Shoots: place orders for TV-related photo shoots
Video/Photo:

Serve as liaison between Culinary Producers and Kitchen Operations for ingredient/equipment needs: support w/ researching and sourcing specialty items, QC, in-house product management

Culinary Support: work independently or provide support to the assigned Culinary Producer on some/all the following tasks: attend pre-meetings, create prep lists, create shopping list, and prep and execution of shoot
Events:

Planning, food support and execution of occasional television and video related events
Administrative:

Culinary Production Team Scheduling

Assist with managing internal team schedule

Hire temporary kitchen support as needed and handle any related communication needed with HR, Payroll and IT teams.

What You Bring to the Team:

2 years of professional culinary experience.

This position is located in our Boston, MA office in the Seaport district. It is the expectation that the person in this role will work a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) in the office and 2 days per week remotely.
