In the role of Business Development Representative (BDR) you will help contribute to the EF Go Ahead mission byresearching prospective customers, creating outreach strategies, and identifying sales opportunities to support the overall business. As a BDR, you will conduct exploratory conversations with potential customers and use your business acumen to identify how Go Ahead Tours can help organizations and travelers alike explore the world!

You will have the opportunity to combine your strengths in sales, consulting, analytics, and relationship building by managing the planning and implementation of integrated marketing strategies to help support our regional sales teams. Your goal will be to conduct market research to uncover who our ideal customer is, develop your own book of business, follow up on warm leads and identify potential prospects.

A successful BDR will:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Regional Tour Consultants to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies
  • Consult with Marketing team to implement market research strategy
  • Generate qualified sales leads through call-out campaigns
  • Schedule discovery meetings with prospects to further assess a their potential for a partnership with Go Ahead
  • Produce a high level of daily outbound calling activity
  • Provide regular status updates and reports that keep relevant stakeholders informed of our progress
  • Be highly adaptable; energized by rapid change and ambiguity
  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple workstreams and projects simultaneously
  • Think strategically, and execute tactically

Were looking for people who have:

  • A minimum of 2 years sales experience prospecting experience is a must
  • A track record of high achievement and the desire to meet and exceed measurable performance goals
  • The ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment with peers who challenge you to be better
  • Strong project management, planning, attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • A keenly developed competitive nature
  • The ability to deal with and thrive on objections
