All candidates will initially speak with one of our amazing talent acquisition partners as a first step. This really allows for the opportunity to learn more about you and your job search tell you more about the team and the role here at SevenRooms, and really offer you the opportunity to ask as many questions that you might have about us for the position. From there, you jump into a hiring manager interview, we'll spend about 30 to 45 minutes with the hiring manager, they'll dig deeper into your functional competencies and skill sets. And then you'll walk through some more specific examples of your experience. So we can try to align a fit with our needs and your background. From there, you then move into a team interview round, that's kind of the next core round for us. And typically, that next step will be around of individual team interviews where you'll meet with anywhere from two to three additional people, these are going to be behavioral interviews based on competencies that we've determined for the position. And in these conversations, these are going to be cross functional partners or members of your team. And our goal here is to provide a well rounded view for us in terms of your experience and backgrounds and traits, but also give you a really well rounded experience as a candidate as well. And then finally, for our go to market positions. The last step is typically a pitch or presentation depending on the role that you're being considered for. And then really what this is, is given the importance of the customer interaction for all of our go to market positions, this really helps us get a better understanding of how you might interact with customers in your role with SevenRooms.

So in terms of your application, I always recommend people whether it's SevenRooms or elsewhere, that they really try to highlight their career accomplishments, and key results on their resume. So you know whether or not requirements for getting an interview with us does help recruiters and hiring managers gain a better understanding of your experience. Specifically for our go to market positions. I also highly recommend including information such as your book of business quota, how you've achieved that quota number or type of customers, retention rates, whatever is gonna be most relevant to you or your position that you're applying for.
How to stand out during the interview process
So SevenRooms is always looking for candidates who are passionate about the customer experience, regardless of their background or where they're coming from. And often this takes form in you know, how you talk through your experiences. But we're also really looking for candidates who embody our five core values. So those five core values are only experience. We're owners and we take pride and accountability and all of our work and product here to serve, which is we bring a customer first mindset or Northstars, our customers and their challenges, which is constantly evolving, change up the menu. For Kant, we're curious innovators, we're hungry to learn and grow and push ourselves to try new ways of doing things. Make room for all, everyone has a seat at invoice at the table, we take pride in our differences and encourage the sharing of new ideas, and celebrate our own unique experiences. And finally put everything on the table. We are transparent. We communicate with candor, respect and setting expectations and asking for feedback, providing feedback, sharing information. So those are our core values, and we do look for that. And then finally, when it comes to standing out in the interview process, a couple other tips and tricks from our talent acquisition team is ask thoughtful questions. Be prepared for a mix of behavioral interview questions as well as more specific questions about your career achievements such as retention metrics, or quota achievement just depending on what the role is. This helps us understand and you to highlight kind of how you operate and what you've accomplished both individually and with your different teammates. I'd recommend practice explaining and applying your past experiences to the position that you're interviewing for here at seminar rooms, particularly if you're someone who's transitioning from a different type of role or different type of industry. And then in your pitch or your presentation for that final round. This really is your opportunity to showcase your approach To the customer experience and your business acumen, and helps show us kind of what you'd like be like in action. And then finally, last tip for you is just trying to bring your most authentic self to every conversation, we really want to get to know you. And, you know, hopefully our core values reflects that. But we want to really understand a bit more about who you are as a person.
Why you should join SevenRooms
Yeah, I really love this question a because I do genuinely believe this is one of the best and most exciting time to join SevenRooms. Not only from a product standpoint, from a market standpoint, but financially speaking as well, we have a lot of stability and financial strength. We have a really good trajectory ahead of us here. But we're also really still in growth mode. So it brings a lot of interesting challenges and problems that we still have to solve for ourselves, but a customer is. But what's great is that we have all that growth mode, coupled with stability of a company that's been around for 10 plus years and a history of knowing what works, what doesn't work and how to kind of sustain our growth over time. And I think this really gives employees and candidates are a unique opportunity to come in, make a huge, huge impact on where we're heading, play a really big role in our future as a company, but also play a really big role in helping to transform the hospitality industry for the better
