Title: Director of GTM Partnerships
WHAT YOULL DO:
The Partnerships Director primarily develops and manages Duck Creeks go-to-market partnerships in Americas, that contribute to an assured customer experience that also are significant to Duck Creeks Product & SaaS. Outcomes are tied to measurable impact to go-to-market, successful customer engagement, and Product & SaaS related project milestones.
- Develop, manage, and optimize strategic relationships with partners to drive mutual success.
- Define and execute the overall strategic direction for each partner engagement.
- Lead and orchestrate key partner initiatives, including Formation activities and the Partner Summit.
- Collaborate with the Partner Insurance practice to ensure effective knowledge-sharing on products, solutions, target markets, and prospect coverage.
- Align and engage with partner teams, including Customer Success, Product, GTM (Sales, Client Executives, Marketing, Pre-Sales), and Alliance teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional alignment within Duck Creek, working with Professional Services, Engineering/Product, and GTM teams (Sales Leaders, Solution Development, Solution Consulting, Marketing).
- Drive GTM activities to achieve key metrics, such as sourced revenue, influenced revenue, and joint marketing success.
- Oversee product integration initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes for agreed-upon projects.
- Align on customer success strategies to support joint client engagement during and post-implementation phases.
- Collaborate on recruiting, onboarding, and managing new partners to expand solutions, regions, and value-add offerings.
- Facilitate and manage procurement and contractual relationships for partners, including Master Partner Agreements and Statements of Work.
- Work closely with internal teams, including Legal, GTM Sales Operations, and Product/Engineering, to ensure effective partnership execution.
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on partnership performance, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
- Foster strong collaboration across internal and external teams to achieve shared business goals.
- Serve as the primary contact for partner escalations, ensuring positive, results-driven relationships.
WHAT YOUVE DONE:
- Bachelors Degree required
- 7+ years of experience with business-to-business relationship development and management
- 5+ years of experience in financial services technology, preferably insurance services and core software
- 5+ years of enterprise software partner, Software services or SI experience
- Capable of envisioning and defining go to market strategies
- Negotiation and contracting experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and oral)
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Demonstrated communication effectiveness is of high importance
- Must possess or develop solid knowledge of Duck Creek products, product messaging, partner capabilities and positioning, competitor positioning, and our near & long-term product strategies.
PREFERRED
- Proficiency in multiple languages
- Knowledge of insurance principals and operations with an emphasis on property & casualty insurance within Insurance Carriers as well as Partner Practices

- Demonstrated ability to envision, define, and execute go-to-market strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
- Proven experience in negotiation and contracting, including managing Master Partner Agreements and Statements of Work.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, tailored to diverse audiences and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and synthesize data into actionable insights.
- Effective communicator with a track record of fostering collaboration and building strong relationships internally and externally.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Duck Creek products, messaging, partner capabilities, and competitive positioning, with the ability to align these with business strategies.
- Familiarity with property and casualty insurance principles and operations, particularly within insurance carriers and partner practices.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to assess market trends, competitor activities, and partner opportunities to inform decision-making.
- Skilled in coordinating cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success, to achieve partnership goals.
- Proficient in identifying and leveraging partner strengths to deliver joint solutions that drive customer success and revenue growth.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality outcomes.
- Adept at using data-driven approaches to measure and communicate partnership performance, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
