Cedar is looking for a Lead Product Manager to lead product development for a cross-functional squad that will be responsible for (a) scaling our product suite, as well as (b) exploring new product bets like simplifying insurance discovery to increase affordability for the most vulnerable U.S. patient populations. At a high-level, the role will involve:
- Product Strategy: Work with clients, prospects, and other healthcare entities to ensure we have an understanding of important problems to solve, as well as opportunities for Cedar to differentiate itself. Develop business cases and strategies that will help us achieve these goals.
- Execution: Work with Commercial, Engineering, Design, and Data to execute on the roadmap and deliver high quality products
- Commercialization: Collaborate with commercial and business teams to understand evolving customer needs, iterate, and drive adoption to fully realize customer value
This is a senior role that will work on high-visibility initiatives. The ideal candidate has (a) proven track record of delivering complex software products, including 0 to 1 initiatives, (b) excellent internal/external executive communication, and (c) expertise in related healthcare domains like RCM or insurance.
Responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally with nearly every function (ex: Commercial, Makers, Legal, Security)
- Drive product strategy by generating market insights via client engagement and desk research
- Craft a compelling vision, strategy, and roadmap based on user needs and company goals
- Develop and execute on roadmap with dev team (Eng, Design, Data)
- Define measurement strategies for team and launches, while teaming with Data to draw insights
- Define GTM for your product with Commercial to ensure flawless delivery + customer value
- Develop + share thought leadership around your product + its market
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of product management experience in a rapid-growth startup environment
- Track record of successfully delivering complex software products (especially 0 to 1 initiatives)
- Strong executive communication + project management skills with leadership teams
Comfortable solving big, ambiguous problems via experimentation and limited data - Ability to think strategically and craft a compelling team vision
- Experience working with technical architects and an understanding of data models
- Experience working directly with engineers and designers to ship customer-facing applications
- Strong analytical and data driven approach
Bonus Qualifications
- Prior knowledge of the healthcare space (RCM, insurance, etc.)
- Technical background in product-related software engineering
- Prior B2B product experience in an enterprise client-facing role
Compensation Range and Benefits
- Salary/Hourly Rate Range*: $187,000 - $220,000
