About the role
We are seeking an experienced VP of Product to lead Product Management in shaping and executing our product vision. This executive will define our product roadmap, establish market priorities, define go-to-market strategies, and work closely with our sales, marketing, and engineering teams to drive commercial success. This role is a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between customer needs and engineering capabilities and ensure we build products that customers will enthusiastically adopt. What to expect in the first 30 days:

Immerse yourself in Alloy Enterprises technology, product offerings, and target markets.

Work with other teams (engineering, sales, and marketing) to understand key objectives and challenges, including joining sales calls and customer visits.

Conduct market interviews to develop an understanding of customer needs and expectations.

Identify needs in product management, roadmap development, and product marketing.
Ongoing Responsibilities

Product Strategy: Define and communicate a clear, market-focused product vision aligned with long-term business goals.

Create Opportunities. Identify applications well suited to Alloys capabilities, define customer needs, and work with engineering teams to determine product requirements.

Pricing: Develop dynamic pricing strategies informed by market conditions, customer feedback, and competitive benchmarking.

Data Analytics: Develop systematic and data-driven processes for setting commercial and engineering priorities.

Go-to-Market Execution: Collaborate with sales and marketing to create comprehensive plans, including sales enablement tools, channel and partnership strategies, and marketing campaigns. Including identifying partnership opportunities and structuring and negotiating agreements.

Thought Leadership: Drive awareness of Alloy Enterprises through whitepapers, webinars, and blog content to position the company as an industry leader.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Translate new engineering capabilities into market-ready products and oversee their successful launch.

Public Representation: Serve as Alloys representative at speaking engagements, trade shows, and other industry events.

Competitive Analysis: Build a detailed understanding of the competitive landscape and establish Alloy Enterprises unique value proposition.
Youd Be Good For This Role If

You have experience leading product management and marketing teams, preferably in manufacturing, industrial technology, or a related field.

You have robust analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

You take a Customer-Centric Approach and have experience conducting customer interviews and translating insights into actionable marketing strategies.

You have experienced success in working with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and engineering, to achieve shared goals.

You have demonstrated success in defining and executing product strategies that drive growth and market penetration.

You have been successful in an early-stage B2B hardtech startup.

10-15 years of industry experience.

You have a 4-year engineering or technical degree and an MBA.

You are comfortable being onsite 4 days weekly in our Burlington, MA office.
