Opportunity Overview:
We are looking for a Vendor Management Specialist. Reporting to the Manager of Vendor Management, you will assist with ensuring the best win-win scenarios for Cohere and their external partners. You will ensure alignment with the direction of the business in a complex, ever changing environment. This position is responsible for assisting with determining and delivering on vendor management strategy and operating goals.

You are skilled in communicating with vendors, tracking SLAs, project management, and understanding everyones interests to create positive working relationships. What you will do:
- Directly involved with vendor/department relationships
- Track vendor SLAs and SOWs
- Project manage implementation of new vendors
- Work cross-functionally with other teams to analyze, plan, and manage vendor success
- Develop and maintain key vendor relationships
- Assist with procurement processes when seeking out new vendors
- Help create, implement, enforce new policies
- Proactively identify where problems can occur and remediate
- Monitor quality and details of vendor performance; locate poor performance swiftly and effectively and provide feedback to solutions

The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 annually; as part of a total benefits package which includes health insurance, 401k and bonus. In accordance with state applicable laws, Cohere is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including but not limited to qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and internal alignment.
