Job Brief
Advisor360 team is seeking a DevOps Engineer to ensure the operational excellence and automation of our systems in a hybrid-cloud environment. This role will require a balance of tactical and strategic, ranging from the ability to deep-dive customer impacting issues in real-time to driving long-term strategy and implementation. We are a hybrid office environment and require employees to be in the office 3 days per week.

Responsibilities
- Identify patterns that impact the performance, reliability, or availability of our product and eliminate through the application of automation or other technical innovation.
- Possess a cross-domain understanding of the technologies supporting our product.
- Write high-quality, clean, efficient, and well-documented code to create reusable and modular components.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Lead and document operational best practices for other cross-functional team members
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies, bring new ideas and approaches to the teams.
Skills & Requirements
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, PowerShell experience
- 5+ years of experience with systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience
- 3+ years of experience on any Cloud Platform (AWS, Azure, Google, others).
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, development lifecycle, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Experience taking a leading role in building complex software or computing infrastructure that has been successfully delivered to customers.
- Experience with maintaining and operating hybrid-cloud environments
- Experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering
