To continue our growth, we are looking for a Head of Sales Operations who will ensure that every aspect of our sales function is running effectively, efficiently and with a mindset of continuous improvement. This is a hugely important role, reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Office, that has a direct impact on the growth of the business. This role will manage a Proposal Manager and Sales Enablement Manager. With your team, you will be responsible for:
- Sales Operations Projects and Process Optimization: Lead and manage sales operations projects such as CRM optimization, sales process improvements, and the implementation of new sales tools and technologies. Develop and implement strategies to improve sales processes, track project performance through KPIs, and apply continuous improvements based on feedback and data analysis.
- Sales Enablement: Develop comprehensive onboarding programs for new sales hires, provide ongoing training and professional development, and ensure effective utilization of sales tools. Ensure efficient creation and maintenance of sales documentation, and provide easy access to information on sales processes, tools, and training.
- Deal Desk Management: Oversee the deal desk, ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely responses to RFIs, and support the sales team with deal-related queries.
- Reporting and Analysis: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs), conduct win/loss analysis, and provide insights and recommendations to sales leadership.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with RevOps, marketing, product, and finance teams to align projects with business goals and ensure successful execution and integration.
- Sales Compensation and Promotion Management: Implement sales compensation plans, track and report on sales performance, and oversee various incentive programs to boost sales performance. Collaborate with sales leadership and marketing to create and execute promotions, track their success, and gather feedback for improvement.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the Sales Operations team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Set clear goals, provide regular feedback, conduct performance reviews, and support professional growth through training and development opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a senior sales operations role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with CRM systems and sales tools.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategies that drive sales performance and efficiency.
- A data-driven approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
