What we need
As a Engineering Project Manager, you will be developing schedules and timelines while working with multiple departments on key deliverables ensuring that our projects and programs are adequately planned and executed against. You will develop new dashboards to effectively communicate weekly team performance against the baseline cost and schedule. Your tools will be used by both internal groups as well as external customers. You will help transform the department to one which uses data to measure itself on schedule and performance, as well as be a key part of recovery analysis when exceptions come up during a project.

The System Layout Engineering team is part of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain organization, which is responsible for developing the customers warehouse layout, facilitating supply chain execution, and delivering world-class support to the installation team. The System Layout Engineering team drives warehouse design excellence through the incorporation of internal and external customer feedback with a consistent focus on reducing costs for both material and project execution lead times.
What youll do

Create and maintain Program Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using programs such as Smartsheet, Resource Management, and more.

Plan, coordinate, and visualize all significant program activities and schedules developed.

Develop and maintain resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in support of customer projects in accordance with scheduling policies and best practices/guidelines.

Works from engineering task details and Stage Gate requirements to establish project schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements.

Analyze trends, develop reports, facilitate communication, and provide feedback on internal and vendor schedule performance.

Manage and report out on upstream dependencies; ensure roadblocks are removed for Layout and Install teams to hit key Milestones within the team.

Integrate the work of Symbotic and vendor tasks and activities into a critical path schedule in a fast-paced, real-time environment. Develop ways to reduce cycle time on projects through schedule analysis.

Provide critical path impact analysis and recommend conflict resolution actions as required to Engineering group leadership.

Identify and forecast scheduling trends and provide recommendations to mitigate risks to project schedules.

Develop and provide project status presentations to senior leadership.
What you'll need

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or applicable engineering discipline., or equivalent work experience.

Minimum of 7 years experience managing complex schedules and priorities in material handling equipment manufacturing or installation environments.

Demonstrated experience with SmartSheet and/or MS Project Professional scheduling tools.

Ability to work, influence, and gain consensus across multiple functions and teams.

Demonstrated expertise in MS Excel, as well as demonstrated proficiencies in Visio, ERP systems, Oracle OpenAir and other applications.

Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute, follow-up and anticipate challenges.

Demonstrated experience leading and executing tasks associated with Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) planning, development, execution and analysis.

Demonstrated experience supporting and interacting daily with high-level customers and ability to deliver products successfully in a fast-paced environment.

Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Analysis and Management with an ability to develop Cost and Schedule Index across multiple projects.

Remote work location with 25% travel expected.

The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed bi-weekly when travel occurs.
