Were looking to hire a Director of People and Culture to support our employee base and who is excited to have a voice across the organization. You will report directly into our CFO/COO. You will be the companys thought leader on people and culture. You will create a hiring, employee engagement, and retention strategy that supports Paperless Parts and the growth of our team members. This is a full time position based in Boston, MA and requires on-site presence, with a hybrid schedule as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Culture Champion
- Continually improve Paperless Parts culture bringing our passion for an accountable, diverse, and inclusive workforce to everyday life
- Drive initiatives that maximize employee engagement: architect effective strategies, programs, and processes that scale
- Develop a rewards strategy to recognize and motivate employees
- HR Operations, Strategy and Systems:
- Own, develop, and implement Paperless Parts People strategy, procedures, & policies
- Learning and Development:
- Partner with leadership to enhance our performance management process
- Oversee scalable training paths and an internal development path for team members
- Enhance onboarding program designed to accelerate learning of new hires
- Business Partnership
- Develop effective partnerships across the Leadership Team: become a trusted advisor who understands the business and represents and embodies the best interests of Paperless Parts and our Team
- Talent Acquisition
- Lead recruitment efforts, ensuring the selection of top-tier candidates through effective sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Policy and Compliance:
- Ensure HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and compliant with relevant laws and regulations. Assist with required 401k filings and audits.

- Collaborate with external partners for benefits administration and manage the company's compensation structure, ensuring we can attract top talent and can meet our employees needs
Requirements
- A track record of innovating in the People space with demonstrated knowledge in best practices in employee relations, compensation, benefits, compliance, DEI, learning and development, talent acquisition
- Prior experience scaling the People Organization at a high-growth Series A to Series C company
- Possess strong business acumen and the ability to create people programs that drive results for the company and opportunities for our employees
- Ability to think strategically and execute tactically
- Persuasive and capable of influence to adopt new solutions
- Broad familiarity with HR best practices, as well as legal, compliance, and cultural issues likely to be encountered by a business of our nature, including international expansion and hiring.
