What we need
We are seeking a talented Advanced Electromechanical Engineer or Designer to join our Mobile Robotics team within our Hardware R&D org. In this role you will focus on designing wire harnesses and electromechanical systems for new product development. You will collaborate closely with a team of highly talented electrical, quality, test, manufacturing, and project engineers.

What youll do
- Design and Development: Conceptualize, design, and develop complex electromechanical systems for our mobile robots, with focus on cable design & routing, sensor, motor, and drive selection, and design of electronic housings.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with electrical, controls, manufacturing, and quality engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and product success.
- Hands-on Engineering: Actively participate in prototyping, building, testing, and iterating on designs.
- Documentation: Create clear and accurate dimensional drawings per ANSI Y14.5 standards with GD&T. Create and manage Bill of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) in PLM.
- Travel up to 20%.
What youll need
- Preferred technical degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Hands-on experience with electromechanical systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to select and integrate components such as motors, sensors, and actuators.

Up to 20% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid drivers license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
