Big companies spend huge amounts on outside law firms, and many of them can’t easily tell whether they’re paying a fair price. PERSUIT is the end-to-end platform for outside counsel selection and management. Legal teams use us to find the right firm, agree on a price, manage the work and make sure the invoice matches the deal. More than $25B in proposals have been submitted through PERSUIT, and customers save 26% per matter on average. Plenty of law firms use PERSUIT too, so we’re building something that works for both sides of the table.
What is it like to work at PERSUIT?
Busy, in a good way. The team is small enough that your work shows up fast, and global enough that someone is usually online. Engineers, product people, customer teams and people who used to practice law all work on the same problems together. If you like seeing your fingerprints on what ships, you’ll fit in.
What is the company culture like at PERSUIT?
Friendly, direct and pretty low on ceremony. We’d rather hire someone with real drive and room to grow than someone who just looks great on paper. We celebrate each other a lot. Our #shoutouts Slack channel is one of the busiest places in the company, and it’s where people call out teammates who stepped up, especially on the behind-the-scenes work that’s easy to miss.
How do PERSUIT's teams stay connected across different locations?
Working across different offices and time zones is part of who we are, but that doesn't mean we miss out on feeling connected. Beyond regular team collaboration and company-wide conversations, we have plenty of ways to connect outside of our day-to-day work. Our Slack channels are a big part of that, whether it's sharing family moments in #kidsatpersuit, showing off our furry (or not-so-furry!) friends in #fursuits, or catching up on everything and anything in our #watercooler channels. We also make an effort to bring teams together in person whenever possible. No matter where you're working from, there's always a way to feel part of the team.
Where do PERSUIT's people work?
We have offices in New York, London, Vietnam and Melbourne, with team members working across different locations and time zones. Depending on the role and location, employees may work remotely, in-office or in a hybrid arrangement. Whether you're in the office or at your kitchen table, you're part of the same team. We make an effort to come together in person whenever possible, because some things are just better face to face.
What’s PERSUIT leadership like?
Easy to reach and straight with you. You’ll hear where the company is headed and why, including when the news isn’t perfect. Managers here give you real ownership and then back you up. They’re there to help you get better, not to watch over your shoulder.
