Intentsify is looking for a skilled Senior Software Engineer - Infrastructure to spearhead the growth and evolution of our Infrastructure team. You will work closely with leadership in a team of 2-3 engineers. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure systems, with a focus on build and deployment, alerting, monitoring, logging, and backups. This role requires a strong background in the AWS ecosystem, and Python.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of critical infrastructure services.
- Mentor and guide the team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Drive the design and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines, and streamline deployment processes to ensure rapid and consistent roll-outs.
- Architect and design scalable, reliable, and maintainable infrastructure solutions using AWS, Snowflake, and Python.
- Ensure best practices are adopted in designing cloud infrastructure for optimal performance, cost-efficiency, and security.
- Implement effective monitoring and alerting strategies to detect and resolve issues proactively.
- Ensure comprehensive availability of log files across services and infrastructure.
- Design and maintain robust backup strategies.
- Plan and test disaster recovery procedures to ensure minimal downtime and data loss.
- Continuously monitor system health, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and optimize the overall system performance.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all systems, processes, and standard operating procedures.
- Ensure that all infrastructure activities comply with relevant industry and company standards.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Solid hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Expertise in Python and scripting for infrastructure automation.
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code.
- Knowledge of best practices related to security, performance, and disaster recovery.
