You will be responsible for working across the organization to support the day-to-day needs of employees and Lexington Medical while driving long-term strategy through proactively translating business goals into HR solutions that best enable our continued success in a time of accelerating growth.
This is a temporary, contract position.
What you will do:
- Act as a point of contact for employee HR inquiries and employment concerns, providing guidance and support.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company offerings.
- Manage leaves, on-boarding and off-boarding, terminations, and other HR programs that support employee development, team cohesion, and retention.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update HR records, policies, and procedures as needed to reflect changes in legislation and company policy.
- Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to provide insights and support decision-making.
- Drive and maintain HRIS excellence through administration, optimization, and project management.
- Collaborate with leadership to reinforce company culture while acting as an ambassador ensuring our core values and mission are integrated into all things HR.
- Support event planning and employee recognition programs.
- Evaluate, iterate, and support HR programming and projects to drive the best experience through excellent communication, training, and administration.
- Collaborate with the recruiting team to support ad-hoc needs.
What you bring to the table:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of HR generalist experience
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
