Jobs at Epsilon
Chief Executive Officer
I oversee the strategy and delivery of Epsilon and Conversant’s innovative digital and data-driven marketing services to global brands.
I have served Epsilon clients since 1996, and been a key architect behind the company’s rapid growth and expansion.
I’ve played a central role in driving and realizing our vision for a new breed of marketing company. As a result, Epsilon has received numerous accolades as a marketing innovator, including noted recognitions from Forrester Research and Ad Age.
In addition to helping architect the company’s growth and expansion into the data and digital marketing services arena, I’ve helped propel Epsilon to its current position as the largest agency in end-to-end, direct-to-consumer connections.
Prior to my current role, I served as Chief Operating Officer and President of the Epsilon Marketing Technology division, where I directed the development and execution of marketplace strategy and international operations. I also served as Chief Technology Officer, supervising database design and management and data-driven marketing programs.
When I’m not at Epsilon, I collect and play guitars, run, bike and spend a lot of time with family in high school marching band and baseball activities.
All marketing is data-driven marketing. Work hard, do more listening than speaking, make clients successful and do the right thing.
BA, English Literature, Wheaton College
MBA, Harvard Business School
President, Agency Practice
I’m responsible for agency business operations and driving client growth at Epsilon. I am fortunate to lead Epsilon’s agency business, including a world-class creative team, a client-centric account management team and some of the smartest strategy people in the business. I help the world’s biggest brands reach their business goals by fusing data, big creative ideas and technology to engage with customers in the moments that matter most.
I have two decades of global agency and brand experience launching new markets, leading integrated teams and delivering consistent business growth. I joined Epsilon in 2012 as Senior Vice President of Strategy and Growth, focused primarily on connecting Epsilon’s proprietary assets and innovative tools to the traditional creative function agencies fulfill. Previously, I was founding partner at TimeZoneOne, an agency that started in New Zealand and grew to have offices in London and Chicago.
Being a Kiwi (slang for New Zealander), I grew up loving the outdoors, especially surfing. However, living in Chicago, my surfing is now restricted to teaching my two kids how to surf while on family vacations. I am also very happy to teach any rugby fans the All Blacks haka.
In order to succeed in today’s marketing landscape, you must have the team and processes for taking the complicated—such as big data—and simplifying it into actionable marketing campaigns that drive client growth.
Bachelor of Marketing and Commerce, Lincoln University, New Zealand
President, Automotive Practice
My team helps clients build customer relationships and generate better ROI. I manage a diverse team of client service experts who each specialize in one particular industry. We use all of Epsilon’s solutions to help our clients connect more effectively with their customers. This enables them to build stronger relationships and generate better returns on their marketing spend.
I’ve been an active member of the direct marketing community for more than 20 years. I’ve held a variety of strategic marketing positions on the client side, with Fortune 100 companies such as AT&T, Bridgestone/Firestone, MCI and Grainger. In 2001, I joined Aspen Marketing as Chief Operating Officer, where I was responsible for managing the entire client service function across all industries, while also directing agency capabilities from strategy and analytics to creative, database and fulfillment. I joined Epsilon in 2011, when it acquired Aspen.
For fun, I like get out and play golf, especially with any of our clients who love golf! It's a great time spent talking about their business.
I’m a straight shooter and I believe our clients desire full transparency. Client engagements boil down to personal relationships and trust. Our clients trust us to do a job, and, in turn, we must do everything in our power to do it flawlessly. When the occasional challenge arises, I’m a big believer in having a candid discussion with the client as soon as we have the facts. I have a “no surprises” management philosophy.

I oversee the industry leader in affiliate marketing. CJ Affiliate, powered by Conversant and Epsilon’s best-in-class data capabilities, is redefining affiliate marketing. We reach hundreds of millions of consumers shopping online through our affiliate network. I set strategy and direction, model company culture, build and lead the executive team, prioritize resources and deliver company performance.
Before joining CJ Affiliate, I served as President and CEO of Affinnova. Under my leadership, we grew the company from a startup to a global market research technology leader that was acquired by Nielsen in 2014. Prior to Affinnova, I served as President of Imagitas, a life-event marketing services company, where I doubled total revenue, leading to the company’s acquisition by Pitney Bowes in 2005.
Previously, I was SVP of Sales at Catalina Marketing, responsible for one-third of company revenue. Before beginning my career in marketing services and technology, I worked in brand management at Drypers and GlaxoSmithKline, with a focus on product development. I was also a successful bagel shop proprietor in New York City.
In my free time, I play basketball, golf and spend time with my wife, Denise, and four wonderful children, Jordan, Lee, Paris and Winston.

I’m responsible for driving corporate and product strategy and managing all business operations (with the exception of our sales team). I manage the product group and guide the development and refinement of the various technologies and capabilities that set Conversant apart as a truly differentiated offering in the market.
I joined Conversant back in 2009, when we were pioneering the personalized media space as Dotomi and well before “personalization” became the industry buzzword that it is today.
Prior to joining Conversant, I was Executive Vice President of Engineering at comScore, Inc. As one of the company’s original technology team leaders, I oversaw the development and management of comScore’s global enterprise technology, which scaled to support billions of online transactions.
Outside of the office, you can find me spending time with my wife and kids or working with my hands. I’ve restored three cars and a truck to date, as well as my childhood drum set.
Go big or go home.

President, Data Practice
I lead Epsilon’s data business and help our clients leverage data-driven marketing strategies. I develop robust, data-driven strategies that address the business challenges of today’s leading brands.
I’ve been in sync with the pulse of the data industry for more than 15 years, helping clients across verticals determine how data can be incorporated into their new and pre-existing marketing solutions. My approach is to use data as a differentiator, with a focus on helping clients deliver better results. I am passionate about helping brands find new customers and drive loyalty within their existing customer base. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children at the pool, on the slopes, watching their sporting activities and just being together! I love to entertain and design/decorate. I have a passion for fashion.
Data is the foundation upon which a successful marketing strategy is built. Take the time to get a full understanding of who your consumers are and what they want.
MBA, University of Louisville
President, Technology Practice
I lead a team that combines data, predictive analytics, innovative creative and best-in-class technology to deliver digital marketing solutions that drive dramatic, measurable results for our clients.
I returned to Epsilon after being away for nearly two decades—a time during which I had leadership roles at several software and service providers and delivered data-driven, cross-channel marketing solutions for hundreds of Fortune 1000 clients. When not immersed in the digital world, I enjoy watching my kids compete in crew, soccer, track and swimming and also playing a bit of golf and tennis myself.
Set clear objectives with accountability, measure performance, communicate with transparency and keep improving. It seems to work whether you are managing people, leading a project or running marketing campaigns.
BS, Mechanical Engineering, Massachusetts Institute of Technology

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Spencer, and my sweet black lab, Gracie. I am a jogger even though I don’t like it that much! I am a total bookworm and old movie fan. A perfect day off for me is reading all day outside or if the weather is bad, watching an old movie or HGTV marathon. I am addicted to getting acupuncture. It is life changing. I also have a pretty serious shoe collection.
These are things I always say to my team: We will do what we say we will, on time. We will always take the high road and be a shining example of doing the right thing, by acting with integrity at all times. And finally, when all else fails, be gracious!

Chief Financial Officer
As Epsilon’s Chief Financial Officer, I drive our company to consistently deliver on its business plan and achieve profitability goals.
I’ve guided Epsilon to continually reach its business plan and profitability targets throughout the company’s impressive expansion via organic growth and multiple acquisitions. My focus is centered on managing business processes as drivers for new sales growth.

Never take anything for granted. Work as hard today as you did your first day on the job. Always step out of your comfort zone to learn new things. The more tools you possess, the more value you bring to the organization. And more importantly, your job becomes less of a job and more of a rewarding career.
Bachelor of Business Administration, St. Francis Xavier University, Nova Scotia
Chief Privacy Officer
As Chief Privacy Officer, I lead the global privacy and data protection programs for both Epsilon and its Conversant business. With our talented global privacy team, I oversee all ongoing activities related to the global development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to privacy and data protection programs.
Fresh out of college, I started my career in government affairs. This experience led to an opportunity in privacy and data protection as the first privacy lead at an email marketing vendor nearly 20 years ago. Most recently, I spent over nine years as part of Dell Technologies’ Global Privacy Office. Prior to Dell, I led various programs within the Enterprise Privacy offices of Bank of America Corporation and Countrywide Financial Corporation. I am also the proud mom of two smart, talented, funny kids. In my free time, I enjoy taking advantage of the great live music shows in Austin, traveling with family and good friends, and watching my favorite sports teams (Fly, Eagles, fly!).
A great workplace is not only about the work. For me, the people and the culture of a company contribute so much to a great experience. And these are also the foundation of any compliance program. Policies, procedures and training are fundamental. But real success is achieved through the commitment and passion of people wanting to do the right thing, for the company and for one another.

Chief Information Officer
As Chief Information Officer at Epsilon, I’m responsible for global infrastructure services for our portfolio of client-facing products and solutions, as well as our internal corporate IT services.
I’ve been delivering business value through technology for more than 15 years, with a broad background in Information Technology that covers financial services, manufacturing, convenience, consulting and marketing services. Throughout my career, I have focused on ensuring technology investments are maximized and driving better business outcomes by influencing my organizations to be customer-centric, data-driven and results-oriented.
I live in the Dallas area with my wife, two children and our ever-present pug. When I am not focusing on delivering better results for clients, I enjoy watching my son play baseball, listening to my daughter play piano, reading, playing guitar and trying to play golf.
While I am passionate about data and technology, ultimately, I believe success is driven by developing and working with great people, being prepared and staying focused.
BA, Economics, University of North Texas
Chief Information Security Officer
I’m responsible for overall information security, including standards, procedures and guidelines for Epsilon and its affiliates. I drive the direction of our information security architecture, managing the ongoing execution of the security operations center in Information Technology areas such as applications, data protection, voice and data communications systems, as well as all Information Systems Security monitoring, analysis, detection and incident response processes.
I joined the U.S. Army right out of college, serving for 24 years in many IT service management, product management and Chief Information Officer roles, including managing cyber security operations at the enterprise/global level for the U.S. Department of Defense and the U.S. Army. After retiring as a Colonel, I worked in cyber security for a Gartner quadrant-leading managed security service provider, reorienting my focus and knowledge base on the cyber threat to civilian industry.
Before joining Epsilon, I was the Chief Security Officer for a market-leading cloud security company. This enabled me to embrace the strong gravitational pull of IT services moving to the cloud and learn the best strategies and architectures for providing best-of-breed cyber security in the cloud.
When I am not at work, I enjoy time with my family and riding mountain bikes.
Focus on security from the inside out versus the outside in. Don’t be afraid of complexity or change. Be someone the team can count on and always use your best judgement.

Chief Revenue Officer
I lead strategy for revenue generation across our entire digital media business, including teams spanning sales, client development and business development. As data-driven marketing continues to transform the entire marketing function, allowing brands to connect to people across all devices in seamless, ongoing conversation, I lead Conversant’s strategy for capitalizing on resulting opportunities. I help our teams meet the true promise of harnessing big data and technology to drive real one-to-one personalized marketing for higher marketing returns and customer satisfaction.
I grew up in classic CPG marketing and sales roles, spending six years at General Mills learning how big companies and brands work. From there, I spent 18 years at Catalina, one of the first companies to connect massive, granular data sets to personalized one-to-one media. I worked my way through the organization to become executive vice president of US Media. As EVP, I pioneered the development of data-driven insights to architect business strategies and drove sustained revenue growth culminating in the sale of the company. I was also responsible for leading the company’s new customer acquisition efforts, integrating a mobile acquisition into Catalina’s core business and launching the first CPG data-driven display product, which led me to Conversant.
I believe in people. You must connect, enable, inspire, nourish and build trust with everyone. Relationships are the catalyst for sustained prosperity. In business, I treat customers as valued partners, and I view their success as equally important to our success.
I also love to build culture. I believe in creating an environment of accountability—winning the right way while working hard and playing harder. We should always strive for excellence, but take the time to enjoy the journey and infuse it with fun.
Bachelor’s degree, University of Illinois
Head of Marketing
I lead the Epsilon and Conversant marketing team responsible for building a clear and ownable market leadership position. My team partners closely with our product and sales teams to accelerate go-to-market clarity, confidence and revenue.
I have helped build businesses, brands, product go-to-market plans and teams across very cluttered and fast-moving categories. My experience varies from classically trained CPG marketing to building an expertise in developing market-entry strategies ahead of market maturity.
I've spent the majority of my career on the client side where I’ve held multiple retail and CPG marketing leadership positions at PepsiCo, Gatorade, Frito-Lay, ConAgra and Sears Holdings. I was most recently Chief Marketing Officer of Eyeview, where I led our market-entry strategic plan, positioning Eyeview as the leader in outcome-based personalized video marketing. Prior to Eyeview, I was CMO for multiple brands acquired by Gannett Digital Ventures Group, the advertising technology services arm of Gannett (original parent company of USA Today, Cars.com).
I enjoy spending time with my family, and most weekends you can find us at a hockey rink, basketball court or a baseball field. I love to travel, have a passion for yoga, food and photography and am a certified Spinning® instructor.
As a leader, my philosophy is to inspire and empower. I received some wise advice early in my career that has helped guide my journey: 1. Your career is a marathon and not a sprint. 2. Human nature is to need a map. If you are brave enough to draw one, others will follow. I’m big on drawing maps.
MBA, Marketing and eCommerce: Loyola University Chicago

Managing Director, Sales
I lead a global sales team that is responsible for driving revenue growth through long-term new business agreements that combine Epsilon’s industry-leading database marketing services and digital messaging and loyalty engagement platforms. Day in and day out we advise Fortune 1000 companies on how to deepen customer engagement and create business growth through integrated digital and data-driven marketing approaches.
I’ve spent more than fifteen years leading business-to-business technology sales teams across verticals to success through a consultative selling approach. Prior to joining Epsilon, I led Unica (acquired by IBM), Neolane (acquired by Adobe) and NetProspex (acquired by Dun & Bradstreet) to acquisition. When not on the road meeting with clients and prospects, I enjoy spending time with my friends and family–-preferably outdoors near the mountains skiing, snowshoeing, hiking or mountain biking.
It all starts with people. Hire the best, brightest most passionate team and implement a respectable process and manage to it, while setting clear goals and expectations. Lead from the front and hold everyone to same level of accountability, while acting as a motivator, teacher and mentor.
Managing Director, Technology Client Services
I’m responsible for client relationships in our Technology Practice. I oversee the development and delivery of omni-channel marketing solutions for our clients, enabling smarter conversations with their customers and building deeper relationships.
I started my career at Epsilon as an Account Executive and rapidly rose from Account Executive to Vice President because I was able to generate dramatic program results. After 17 years, I left Epsilon to manage the marketing services team at Extraprise Group in Boston, a company dedicated to unleashing customer insights to deliver better sales and marketing results. In 2007, I rejoined Epsilon.
In my current position as the Client Officer, I am focused on ensuring that we support the needs of our clients and generate positive business outcomes. I love to entertain, secretly dream of being a designer on Project Runway and am an avid reader and moviegoer. You will also find me cycling, sailing, skiing and attempting to play golf.
I love the twin disciplines of creativity (art) and logic (science) that are required to execute successful marketing programs, in particular, the magic that occurs when data is transformed into insight and frames a marketing strategy. At heart, I am a problem solver with a passion for improving on the tried and true.
BA, Tufts University
Managing Director, Automotive and Data Delivery
I lead the strategic and operational efforts of Epsilon’s data teams. I’m responsible for the continuing development of Epsilon’s world-class data assets, operations and delivery of data products that fuel the data-driven marketing programs that serve our clients. I direct diverse data teams, including our automotive engineering group, which builds leadership products for the automotive industry, helping clients deliver successful marketing programs and campaigns. I also oversee Agility Connect, the most innovative batch and real-time data integration solution available.
I’ve served in executive engineering management positions for U.S.-based and international organizations at UniData, Requisite Technology and Digital Equipment Corporation. I was one of the early employees of Abacus Direct, joining the company in 1998.
Since 2007, when Epsilon purchased Abacus, I’ve led the product and operational integration of multiple data-focused acquisitions, including Abacus, CPC, ICOM and, most recently, the direct marketing division of Equifax. In my spare time outside of work, I enjoy walking, reading and spending time with my family.
Lead by example and treat all colleagues with respect and honesty.

Although we come from a wide array of backgrounds, we share:
- A passion for building relationships
- A tenacious, never-give-up approach to tackling challenges
- An independent, “go-getter” attitude
- An appreciation for work/life balance
- A belief that embracing a diverse, inclusive workforce is key to understanding a diverse consumer marketplace
Coworkers, clients, friends.
We don’t just help our clients develop better relationships with their customers. We also build strong relationships with one another and our clients. Strong friendships and partnerships are the thread of our DNA. You can feel it in meetings, in the hall, around the water cooler, at lunch breaks, at happy hour. Working at Epsilon means forging life-long friendships.
We never give up. Ever.
Our clients ask us to solve problems that they cannot solve on their own. Finding solutions to these tough challenges requires a tenacious dedication. We push hard to make tight deadlines. We work creatively to stay on budget. We never settle for “good enough.” It takes smarts, teamwork and a lot of passion.
Change is the one thing we count on.
The only sure thing in our industry is that things will be different tomorrow. We are nimble. We are agile. We have to be to keep up with our clients’ needs, stay current with technology and beat the competition. We don’t just tolerate change. We thrive on it.
We jump in with both feet.
Sitting on the sidelines and waiting to be called is the best way to lose business. Our success depends on taking initiative: to call clients, to explore new technologies, to find answers, to learn new skills. Whether we’re helping a client, or helping one another, we don’t wait to be asked. That’s the Epsilon way.
Life can’t always wait until the weekend.
We know that life happens. School recitals aren’t always on the weekend. Aging parents need help getting to the doctor on Tuesday afternoon. Air conditioners don’t pick a convenient time to break. We have all been there. At Epsilon, we can take care of life, whenever it happens. We find ways to deliver results even when life intrudes on office hours.
Epsilon offers a fast paced, exciting work environment with the opportunity to quickly grow and develop new skill sets. The company is made up of extremely dedicated and professional individuals who are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
I have the pleasure of working with great people each and every day. I work with many teams as a sounding board for new ideas and as a guiding voice of experience for the services we provide. In my role, there’s nothing better than the satisfying feeling of mentoring new team members and providing them the opportunity to grow.
For potential candidates who are interested in working at Epsilon, I would say to them: Sometimes your day goes better than you anticipated, and other days you get fiery curve balls thrown at you. But no matter what, you will have the privilege of working for interesting clients and with a team of associates that will share in your joys and frustrations.
Epsilon is a great company with a lot of opportunity for growth. If you like a fast-paced, ever changing environment, you’ll enjoy working here.
