About Wellframe and what they do
So Wellframe is a technology company that builds digital health management solutions. And we built products to enable our health plans for them to provide a great customer experience and provide a personalized health care to the members. Our products that we build our mobile applications provide a great personalized digital care management to our members. And we are here to disrupt the digital healthcare space right specifically in the management. And we want to make that digital transformation possible for all of the health plans across the nation.
Details on Wellframe's Engineering team
So we are entering organization is about 75 people large and we are mix of engineers from mobile engineers back in front end engineers, we also have assets and DevOps engineers, our teams are grouped in a way that they are kind of full stack. And they're working on a product slice at a time, right. And so they have the capability to work from all the way from back end to front end. Also, within the QA function built into it, we are all located for the most part locally, we do have a very relaxed, working remote environment. And we are using all of the collaboration tools to be very productive.
Cool projects engineers get to work on
So we are working on a care management system that's really state of the art that using a content management system to provide a great care management programs and clinical content to our members. We are also working on some of the features to integrate with other care management solutions, and build some tools internally and externally that power our customers to be very flexible and adaptable, but healthcare management.
Details on the tech stack
So our tech stack is Google Cloud Platform, and we are native Google Cloud solutions. And our back in tech stack, we are running on containerization. So we're using Docker and Kubernetes. We are mostly a Java shop. And we do build some solutions that will be on rails. And for the front end, we are react and all the React libraries along with it. For our mobile solution. We are native mobile languages. So it's swift and Kotlin for Android.
What to expect during the interview process
Our interview process is really optimized so we provide a best candidate experience. So go on board space, right? And we want to, for engineers specifically just understand their problem solving skills and their communication, how are they able to think about a problem and solve it, and their understanding of computer languages and the basics. And so we provide some design exercises for them to design the solution. We provide some coding screen so they could code and that's more of an as you would code on here. And we typically have a behavioral section where we understand how you're able to communicate and understand you are fit for the company values.
Why now is the ideal time to join
So we are growing as a company, and we were recently acquired by a company called Health edge, and we have a lot of opportunity to build products along with the suite of product health edge offers. And we are also having a discussions about how can we really improve our technologies and that provides a lot of growth opportunities, not only in terms of the courier for our engineers, but also their understanding of the technology and are them to contribute to actually make an impact in the world.
