What we need

Exol is seeking a Senior Transportation Analyst – Billing, Claims & Compliance who will execute and continuously improve the processes that protect revenue, support customer satisfaction, and ensure operational discipline across our expanding network.

This role combines hands-on execution of daily billing and claims activities with process ownership. As Exol grows, you will play a key role in establishing the scalable workflows, controls, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) required to support future business expansion. The ideal candidate is a process-driven individual who thrives on bringing structure to rapidly growing environments. Beyond academic credentials, you have a demonstrated real-world ability to build workflows, minimize financial risk, and partner effectively with stakeholders to deliver reliable logistics results.

What we do

Exol is a fast-growing industry leader dedicated to revolutionizing our supply chain network. We are building a world-class, data-driven logistics ecosystem that seamlessly blends a sophisticated private fleet with robust multi-modal ground procurement.

*Exol is an independently managed joint venture between Symbotic and Softbank.

What you’ll do

  • Billing Management: Validate, prepare, and issue accurate transportation invoices. Investigate discrepancies, partner with Operations and Finance on reconciliations, and maintain strict controls to prevent revenue leakage.

  • Claims Management: Administer end-to-end transportation claims for cargo loss, damage, or shortage. Coordinate with carriers, customers, and insurance partners to drive timely resolution, analyze root causes, and track financial recoveries.

  • Compliance & Operational Controls: Monitor network adherence to contractual commitments, internal policies, and customer requirements. Support customer audits, maintain complete documentation, and mitigate operational risks.

  • Process Governance & Automation: Identify workflow gaps and develop sustainable, standardized SOPs. Partner across teams to support TMS/billing system enhancements and automation opportunities.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary point of contact for Exol's customers and carriers regarding billing and claims. Support new customer onboarding and implementation requirements.

  • Performance Reporting: Monitor and report KPIs via dashboards to provide executive visibility into financial leakage, claims trends, and operational performance.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Logistics, Finance, Business, or Accounting

  • Minimum 5 years in transportation billing, claims, logistics compliance, finance operations, or related functions.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a proven track record of resolving complex invoicing discrepancies or cargo claims.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the agility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience working within a 3PL environment or supporting Retailer Consolidation programs (multi-stop distribution networks) preferred.

  • Experience with TMS, ERP, or specialized billing/claims platforms. Exposure to data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Our Environment

  • Up to 25% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client and other customer locations.

  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.
