What we need

The Industrial Engineer (Nationwide) supports the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of operational processes across the Exol network. This role partners with Operations, Engineering, IT, Quality, and other cross-functional teams to create and maintain process documentation while supporting industrial engineering initiatives focused on productivity, standardization, and operational efficiency.

Exol* is pioneering fulfillment as-a-service, offering outsourced warehousing operations and specializing in automated warehousing solutions. Our focus is on the efficient movement of goods in cases and pallets across all sectors, such as CPG, food and beverage, wholesale, and retail.

What you’ll do

  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, standard work, and process documentation.

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to document and improve operational processes.

  • Support time studies, labor analysis, productivity tracking, and process observations.

  • Assist with process mapping, facility layouts, workflow design, and operational analysis.

  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives through data analysis and problem solving.

  • Maintain process documentation and ensure updates reflect approved operational changes.

  • Travel to operating sites to support implementations, collect data, and validate process standards.

What you’ll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related engineering discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Distribution, Logistics, or Supply Chain.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent is preferred.

  • Experience with AutoCAD, Visio, Power BI, and/or WMS systems is a plus.

Our Environment

  • Travel could be up to 50% of the time. Employee must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to locations and other customer locations.

  • The employee is responsible for owning a credit card and managing expenses personally to be reimbursed on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, climb stairs and ladders, and work comfortably in warehouse environments including varying temperatures and noise levels.
