This past July, 18 Wasabians participated in the Run to Home Base at Fenway Park, marking our fifth year of supporting Home Base and its mission to provide clinical care, wellness programs, education, and research for veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. Our team of Wasabi Warriors did an incredible job running, walking, and volunteering their time in support of this important cause.

At Symbotic, we believe great teams are built both inside and outside the workplace. This summer, employees and their families enjoyed a day at Canobie Lake Park as part of our annual Summer Family Fun Day, filled with rides, games, and opportunities to connect. It’s one of the many ways we invest in fostering a culture of collaboration, appreciation, and community.

Vestmark had a fabulous summer of fun and giving back to the local community! Some of our employees volunteered with the Boys & Girls Club of Stoneham & Wakefield! We enjoyed a Kick-Off to Summer event with Big Pig BBQ, lawn games, and an ice cream truck. Our HR team went on a historic tour of Lexington, we celebrated a luncheon with our interns on National Intern Day and donated backpacks for local students in partnership with REACH.

Building a great team goes beyond the work we do together. Our offsites give us the chance to step away from the day-to-day, strengthen our connections, and have some fun along the way.
Nothing says summer like great food, great company, and a little friendly competition! The Imprivata team had a fantastic time coming together for our annual summer event in Waltham. A big thank you to Tacos El Poblanito, Brooklyn Burger, and The Cookie Monstah for serving up delicious bites and helping make the day such a memorable one. Events like these are a great reminder that it’s the people and the moments we share together that make Imprivata such a special place to work.
Britebound Team Members spent an afternoon volunteering across Boston at different sites relevant to our work. We split up after our Summer Townhall and headed to the following sites for various experiences:
- Center for Teen Empowerment: A site visit where team members met program leaders and heard directly from youth participants about their summer experience. We met program leaders and heard directly from youth participants about their summer experience. CTE is a Britebound grantee.
- CAST: An interactive afternoon with middle schoolers, club staff, and CAST’s team, including a hands-on drone flight lesson and a collaborative co-design challenge.
- BioBuilder: We learned pipetting and cell streaking techniques, then help develop a video program that teaches teachers and students best practices at the lab bench. BioBuilder is a Britebound grantee.
- MIT Media Lab: A tour of the Personal Robots Group lab space and a look at prototypes of innovative projects underway. MIT Media Lab is a dynamic interdisciplinary sandbox where dozens of research groups collaborate on transformative technologies, with an eye toward how that work can impact society for good.
- Massachusetts State House: A tour of the State House covering its history, the MA legislative process, and different ways to engage in local and state government, led by office staff and knowledgeable volunteers.
- Rennie Center: A conversation with the Executive Director of Boston’s Rennie Center, Massachusetts’ leading voice in public education reform. The Center creates space for educators and policymakers to consider evidence and develop new approaches to advance student learning.
We had a great time learning more about the organizations we work with and spending time with team members.
This summer, the Agero People Team stepped away from their desks to recharge, connect, and celebrate another incredible year together. With great conversation and plenty of sunshine, it was the perfect reminder that our strong culture starts with the people who support it every day.
