What is Bevi’s mission and product offering?

Bevi is on a mission to disrupt the beverage supply chain and replace single-use water bottles and cans with smart water coolers. The company’s machines are designed to go anywhere bottles and cans are normally found, including workplaces, universities, hotels, spas, senior living homes, and automotive dealerships. The product allows users to customize their beverages with unique flavors and healthy enhancements like electrolytes, vitamins, energy/focus blends, and prebiotics.

What technology powers Bevi’s smart water coolers?

Bevi operates at the unique intersection of hardware, software, data, and delicious beverages. All Bevi machines are internet-connected, allowing the company to track real-time beverage data from every location. This data backbone enables proactive maintenance, automated flavor and carbon dioxide restocking, and a highly reliable user experience across their entire fleet.

How is Bevi growing and expanding?

Bevi grew its employee base by 33 percent last year and currently has around 260 employees. While the majority of the team is based in Boston, Bevi also employs technicians and sales teams across various markets. The company is actively expanding globally, having recently entered the UK and Ireland. Job seekers can find roles across key departments, specifically in software development, firmware, electrical engineering, research and development (R&D) for product innovation, and sales.

How does Bevi leverage AI in its operations and products?

Bevi has deeply embedded artificial intelligence across its entire business to automate workflows and drive efficiency. For example, the company used AI to reduce its collections processing time from several days down to a single hour per month, and it uses AI to capture service call notes and autoload them into internal systems. Bevi encourages employees to get hands-on experience and experiment with AI tools. Additionally, Bevi is developing an AI orchestration layer and bringing AI directly into its user interface to personalize the beverage customization experience for consumers.
