Collage poster showing 2026 Summer Interns with group photos of interns in a tech sector program.

Did you know that the last Thursday in July is National Intern Day?  In recognition of the day and the hard-working interns across the tech sector, we decided to check in with companies and asked them to share an update on their summer interns.

Check out our slideshow featuring summer interns across the tech sector!

Our Formlabs summer interns have officially arrived, and they are thriving! We gave them a proper Boston welcome with two classics: cheering on the Red Sox at Fenway Park and exploring the historic Freedom Trail. We can’t wait to celebrate their accomplishments on National Intern Day!

Our SharkNinja interns have been making the most of their summer🦈 From contributing to meaningful projects across the business while building new skills, collaborating with teams, and getting hands-on with product innovation. They’ve enjoyed outings cheering on the Boston Red Sox and volunteering at the Scooper Bowl in Seaport.

Snyk interns don’t just watch from the sidelines, they bring big energy and fresh perspectives directly to our AI security mission. From day one, whether assisting our legal team or engineering department, their awesome attitudes and hands-on contributions have made an impact across the business!

This summer, Vestmark is proud to welcome 19 interns from 11 colleges and universities, joining teams across Engineering, Finance, Client Operations, Outsourced Services, and Production Support. To celebrate their contributions, the company will host a luncheon in their honor on National Intern Appreciation Day, July 30th.

The Britebound interns are working alongside our teams this summer in the Boston office. They’re each working in different a department: Creative Marketing, Research & Insights, Digital Marketing, Social Impact, and PR & Communications, but also working together on a summer long project to encourage collaboration. At the end of their six weeks, the interns will give a presentation about their project then do Q and A with team members.

This summer, Symbotic welcomed our largest intern cohort to date – with more than 60 interns – for an exciting and impactful experience. Beyond their day-to-day projects, interns have traveled to a customer site to see our technology in action, connected with peers at a Red Sox game, participated in career development workshops, and engaged with company leaders through executive speaker sessions. To celebrate National Intern Day, Symbotic interns will participate in a day-long hackathon called “SymTank”, tackling real-world challenges and showcasing the innovation, creativity, and teamwork that define the next generation of talent.

Cambridge Mobile Telematics Summer Interns enjoyed a trip to the Red Sox!

Teddy Schleuter is interning at Wasabi Technologies as a Competitive Market Analyst. In his role, he works to analyze market trends and competitor positioning to support Wasabi’s strategic decision-making. Teddy says this summer has been “a great hands-on introduction to how a growing tech company thinks about and approaches its market.” Thank you for being a great addition to our team this summer, Teddy!

7AI has one intern for 2026, Aviv Hoitash, who is entering his 2nd year at UC Berkeley. Aviv has jumped right in with the Security Engineering team, helping expand and strengthen the capabilities of 7AI’s investigation engine. In just a few months, he has become a meaningful contributor to the core technology that powers the platform.

Since graduating Boston University, Master’s Program in PR and Communications, I have helped the HYCU team launch HYCU aiR supporting both media relations and social media. It has been an amazing experience and fun to work hands-on with the HYCU team.
