If you’re a hands-on data leader who can shape analytics strategy while still diving deep into Snowflake and SQL, we want to talk to you. We are seeking a Director of Business Intelligence to lead data strategy and execution for one of our most high-impact product and engineering orgs. This role is ideal for someone who can seamlessly blend technical skills with business acumen — someone who can get the data, shape the data, and tell the story.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead large, complex projects that integrate data from multiple business areas by assembling cross-functional teams, extracting and transforming data as needed, and delivering comprehensive analyses. 
  • Clarity of Insights: Act as the strategic analytics partner to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations that drive business outcomes. 
  • Influence decision-making by crafting and delivering compelling, actionable insights to stakeholders. Develop effective communication strategies to ensure insights have maximum business impact and drive strategic decisions.
  • Design, develop and build analysis and tools for characterizing data quality, providing recommendations for remediation and testing and implementing solutions.
  • Mentor & Develop Talent: Depending on structure, lead or mentor a small team (~1 to 2 direct reports), setting standards for data quality, speed, and relevance across projects.
  • Influence Technical Decisions: Apply your experience with data architecture to improve pipelines, table design, and reporting structure in collaboration with engineering.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
    • 10+ years of analytics/data experience with 5+ years in BI/analytics leadership roles
    • Deep proficiency in SQL (with a focus on Snowflake) and hands-on experience with visualization and modeling tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, Python, R, or similar.
    • Experience synthesizing data into spreadsheet models and dashboards for executive decision-making
    • Strong understanding of data architecture and pipeline design principles
    • Strategic thinker with a tactical edge – able to roll up your sleeves and deliver under pressure
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially around data storytelling

Below is the US base salary for this position. Additional compensation such as Bonus, Commission, Equity and other benefits may also apply.
