Job Description

At ZoomInfo, we encourage creativity, value innovation, demand teamwork, expect accountability and cherish results. We value your take charge, take initiative, get stuff done attitude and will help you unlock your growth potential. One great choice can change everything. Thrive with us at ZoomInfo.

As a Software Engineer III – Custom Solutions, you’ll play a vital role in enhancing customer experiences with ZoomInfo’s cutting-edge products, including Copilot, MarketingOS, and Chorus. This role goes far beyond L3 support—you’ll tackle complex technical challenges, build and check in production code, develop automation tools, and collaborate with Engineering, Support, and Product teams to improve platform stability, performance, and flexibility.

You’ll be embedded in a Software Engineering team that focuses on building feature extensions across ZoomInfo’s core product suite, delivering tailored functionality that solves high-impact customer needs. This is a great fit for engineers who enjoy blending deep technical problem-solving with entrepreneurial product thinking.

What You’ll Do:

  • Troubleshoot & Resolve: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues (L3 support) across ZoomInfo’s platforms—then go a step further by shipping production fixes.

  • Collaborate with Engineering: Partner closely with Core Engineering to debug issues, write clean code, and push tested solutions to production.

  • Build Custom Solutions: Design and implement customer-specific software enhancements that extend beyond standard product features.

  • Automate & Optimize: Create internal tools and automated processes to streamline development and support workflows.

  • Customer Advocacy: Work with Sales and Customer Success to translate customer needs into reliable technical solutions.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to internal best practices.

  • Product Influence: Provide feedback and insights that shape roadmap priorities and platform improvements.

  •

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 5+ years in software development, technical solutions engineering, or advanced support.

  • Proficiency with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages and RESTful API development.

  • Hands-on experience with SQL, debugging distributed systems, and troubleshooting SaaS applications.

  • Understanding of networking, authentication (OAuth, SAML, SSO), and enterprise integrations.

  • Passion for solving real-world problems, learning new systems, and working cross-functionally.

  • Excellent communication and a mindset of ownership in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Why Join ZoomInfo?

  • Competitive Pay & Growth: Career progression with mentorship and technical leadership opportunities.

  • End-to-End Impact: Ship real solutions used directly by customers and internal teams.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Support.

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Equity, health & wellness, generous PTO, and a supportive culture.
