Job Description

Senior Product Designer

Location: Boston, MA

Less complexity. More dentistry. More impact.

At Videa, we help dental clinicians deliver better care to millions of patients through AI.

Oral health is health. Dentists are protectors of societal wellness. We build technology that enhances the moment of care, amplifies clinical expertise, and makes proactive oral healthcare the norm.

Thousands of clinicians rely on Videa every day. Your work here will be reflected in real practice, improving real patient outcomes. If you want to build something that matters, keep reading.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who wants to build and ship meaningful work. In this role, you’ll pioneer new interaction paradigms that help clinicians save time and operate more efficiently through conversational interfaces and AI-powered workflows. You’ll create experiences that feel natural and intuitive, translating complex clinical workflows into seamless voice interactions. Working closely with a collaborative team, you’ll deliver high-impact features that prioritize simplicity, efficiency, and real-world usability.

This is not a maintenance role. It is a builder role. You will work alongside engineers, clinicians, operators, and AI scientists to solve practical problems for dental teams on the ground. You will help create the platform that replaces the patchwork of disconnected tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end design for voice-powered features and AI-assisted workflows within our SaaS product

  • Conduct in-person and remote research with dental professionals to understand clinical workflows, pain points, and opportunities for voice-first solutions

  • Prototype rapidly using modern design engineering tools, creating high-fidelity, functional prototypes that go beyond static mockups

  • Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to define product requirements, interaction models, and technical feasibility

  • Use a “Good, Better, Best” framework to iterate quickly, delivering functional solutions while striving for continuous refinement

  • Translate complex clinical workflows into intuitive voice interactions and AI-powered experiences that clinicians can easily adopt

  • Work within and evolve our design system to ensure consistency across voice, visual, and multimodal experiences

Your work will not sit in a slide deck. It will show up chairside.

What You Bring

  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in UX, UI, or Product Design for digital products, with a portfolio showcasing interaction design and innovative solutions

  • Core Traits: Kind, empathetic, curious, and collaborative, with a user-first mindset and genuine interest in healthcare

  • Voice & AI Fluency: Comfort designing for conversational interfaces, voice interactions, or AI-powered experiences (or strong enthusiasm to learn)

  • Design Engineering Skills: Proficiency with tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or comparable code-based design tools. You prototype with code, not just Figma mockups

  • Research Champion: Comfortable conducting in-person and remote user research with clinicians, translating insights into actionable design decisions

  • Partnership Mindset: Proven ability to work closely with product managers and engineers, bridging design and technical implementation

  • Agility: Thrives in fast-paced environments, iterating quickly based on feedback and evolving priorities

  • Communication: Strong skills in presenting and articulating design decisions to stakeholders at all levels

  • Technical Foundation: Expert in Figma with functional knowledge of front-end technologies like React and Tailwind

Most importantly, you care about building technology that improves people’s health.

What We Offer

  • Meaningful product design ownership. Lead the design of voice-powered workflows used by real clinicians every day. You’ll shape new interaction paradigms end to end – not just polish screens.

  • Deep partnership, not handoffs. Work closely with product and engineering as a true thought partner. We prototype in code and Figma, iterate quickly, and solve problems together.

  • Space to do real work. We value research, iteration, and usability. You’ll have the time and trust to design for how products are actually used.

What It Is Like to Work Here

We win and lose together as one team. Collaboration is not a buzzword here. We share context early, ask for input, and step in to help when someone is stuck.

We hold a high bar, but we stay grounded. We move fast, learn as we go, and stay focused on what matters most for clinicians and patients.

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation and meaningful equity

  • Unlimited PTO

  • 100 percent company-paid dental and vision coverage

  • Generous medical contributions

  • The opportunity to work on AI that is actually used every day

  • A team of thoughtful, driven people who genuinely care

Do Not Meet Every Requirement
