Join us in transforming the life sciences industry, committed to making a positive impact on its customers, employees, and communities.

The Role

Veeva’s Employee Success team is looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner to join us in a high-impact, consultative role. Whether your background is in strategic HR, management consulting, or within a business function, this role offers the opportunity to shape people strategies that drive real business outcomes. You’ll  partner with leaders across teams to design bespoke initiatives while helping deliver, support, guide change, and develop the talent in a high-growth, mission-driven company.

Level will depend on experience. We’re hiring for impact—not a rigid title. We’re looking for strategic partners who can flex across a range of responsibilities, operating at the intersection of business and people.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner closely with business leaders to align talent strategies with organizational goals, acting as a trusted advisor on performance, structure, and team effectiveness
  • Identify and remove friction from people-related processes and policies, ensuring they enable business growth
  • Provide strategic counsel and hands-on support in areas such as organizational design, change management, employee relations, and total rewards
  • Translate business objectives into actionable talent strategies, shaping team capabilities and succession plans to meet evolving priorities
  • Operate as a solutions consultant, delivering frameworks, insights, and tools that empower managers to build high-performing, engaged teams
  • Guide managers in creating a culture of excellence through clear goal setting, meaningful feedback, and development planning
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Employee Success function by bringing a consultative mindset, sharing best practices, and leading cross-functional initiatives

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional experience in strategic HR, management consulting, business operations, or other cross-functional roles—with at least 2+ years in a consultative capacity
  • Experience leading or supporting multiple phases of the employee life cycle (e.g., onboarding, performance management, talent development, engagement)
  • Strong understanding of business operations, organizational effectiveness, and financial drivers
  • Excellent communicator with proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, build trust, and navigate dynamic team environments
  • Analytical thinker skilled in using people analytics, data storytelling, and insights to inform talent strategy and business decisions
  • Proven track record of delivering scalable, business-aligned HR solutions through creative problem solving
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high levels of autonomy
  • Entrepreneurial, growth-mindset with a solution-oriented approach and passion for continuous learning
  • Must be located in: New York, Boston, Philadelphia, Columbus, or Raleigh-Durham metro areas. You will have the option to work from home or from an office whenever you’d like

Perks & Benefits

  • Medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance
  • Flexible PTO and company paid holidays
  • Retirement programs
  • 1% charitable giving program

Compensation

  • Base pay: $75,000 – $175,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location.
