The Role

The Veeva eLearning Curriculum Developer creates innovative learning content essential for customers, partners, and employees seeking to build industry-relevant Veeva software skills. In this critical role, you will be responsible for building, improving, and managing our new Veeva Safety eLearning program. This library of engaging, digestible, self-paced lessons is specifically designed to educate users on how to effectively process global safety cases and manage periodic reports using the Veeva Safety platform.

A successful candidate combines a strong background in instructional design and curriculum development with deep expertise in Global Case Processing and Periodic Reporting. You must be comfortable working autonomously, collaborating effectively with SMEs and stakeholders, and possessing a natural affinity for quickly gaining platform mastery. What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop comprehensive, high-quality eLearning programs for Veeva Safety modules, including case intake, case processing, submissions, and aggregate reporting
  • Utilize modern authoring tools and interactive formats (e.g., video, graphic design, interactive eLearning) to build, deploy, and update courses and supporting materials
  • Translate complex technical subjects and regulatory requirements into clear, concise, and engaging instructional content for both functional and technical users
  • Develop training content meticulously aligned with Veeva Safety features, global industry best practices, and stringent regulatory requirements (e.g., expedited/periodic reporting, Regional Health Authority guidance, and ICH E2B R3
  • Conduct thorough instructional research and task analysis to ensure learning content reflects real-world Veeva Safety use cases and role contexts
  • Manage the end-to-end curriculum development lifecycle, spanning analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to validate learning objectives, confirm technical accuracy, and integrate feedback effectively
  • Maintain a deep working expertise in Veeva Safety and Vault Platform technologies
  • Drive all assigned projects with accuracy, transparency, and a strong commitment to meeting established deadlines and milestones
  • Stay current with industry trends, learning best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance training delivery methods

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Minimum 3+ years of dedicated curriculum development experience, specifically creating technical or administrative learning content for software products
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in Global Case Processing and Periodic Reporting, preferably utilizing multiple safety software tools (e.g., Oracle Argus, Aris Global LSMV)
  • Expert proficiency in modern authoring tools and publishing platforms (e.g., Articulate 360, TechSmith Camtasia, WellSaid) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Deep and solid understanding of end-to-end pharmacovigilance processes and regulatory requirements, including the Individual Case Safety Report (ICSR) lifecycle, case processing, coding dictionaries (MedDRA, WHODrug), and periodic reporting standards
  • Proven ability to analyze new product specifications and features to determine their impact on case processing and periodic reporting workflows
  • Exceptional written, visual design, and verbal communication skills.
  • Consistent track record of accountability in delivering high-quality projects on time in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the initiative to build collaborative, productive relationships across all lines of business
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a high-performing team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to new challenges

  • Shareable work portfolio of previously developed course materials
  • 10+ years of direct global case processing, expedited and periodic reporting experience

Compensation

  • Base pay: $75,000 – $125,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
