Account Executive – Hotels

The Account Executive – Hotels is responsible for developing new business within Tripleseat’s hotel segment, focusing on enterprise sales opportunities with long sales cycles and complex buying committees. This role is suited for a consultative seller who can engage executive-level stakeholders at hotel management companies, ownership groups, and independent properties. The Account Executive will cultivate strategic partnerships with other hospitality technology providers and build a referral ecosystem to generate high-quality opportunities.
This position will be a key contributor to Tripleseat’s hotel sales strategy and will be expected to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term value.
Location
This position is open to remote candidates eligible to work in the United States. A hybrid work schedule will be offered if the ideal candidate is based near our Concord, MA office.
Travel Expectations
The ideal candidate will complete onboarding at our Concord, MA office. In-market candidates are expected to maintain an in-person presence at least once per week for sales meetings and events. For those outside the market, 15–20% travel to the assigned territory is required, with occasional travel for company events and training.
Core Responsibilities

Drive new business acquisition through strategic prospecting and enterprise-level outreach across hotel management companies and independent hotels.

Manage long, consultative sales cycles, from discovery through demo, proposal, and contract execution.

Engage and influence executive-level stakeholders, including GMs, DOSMs, revenue leaders, and ownership groups.

Develop and manage a referral network with other hospitality tech vendors, consultants, and strategic partners.

Represent Tripleseat at key industry conferences, trade shows, and events.

Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Implementation) to deliver a cohesive and seamless customer experience.

Maintain a healthy pipeline and report sales activity and forecasting accurately in the CRM.

Keep up-to-date on hospitality trends, competitive landscape, and hotel technology ecosystem.
Other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

Enterprise Sales Expertise: Demonstrated success in managing complex, multi-stakeholder deals and closing enterprise-level SaaS agreements.

Executive Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver compelling business cases to executive-level stakeholders.

Strategic Prospecting: Skilled in account-based sales strategies and navigating long sales cycles with consultative techniques.

Industry Acumen: Deep understanding of hotel operations, group/event sales,and familiarity with hospitality software (PMS, CRM, sales & catering tools).

Partnership Development: Proven ability to identify and develop strategic partnerships and referral relationships.

CRM Proficiency: Experienced in using tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot for pipeline and activity management.

Time & Territory Management: Ability to balance long-term relationship building with short-term revenue goals.

Values Alignment: A customer-focused attitude and the ability to build rapport across teams.
Preferred Experience

3–5 years of experience in SaaS or hospitality technology sales, ideally in an enterprise or strategic accounts capacity.

Prior experience selling into the hotel vertical, including independent properties, hotel groups, or management companies.

Background in group sales, event management, or hotel operations.

Experience working with or alongside hospitality software vendors or consultants.

Proven success in a remote sales environment requiring high levels of independence.
