The Team & Role

Our Sales Development team is expanding, and we’re looking for a driven and experienced SDR Manager to lead our North America team. Reporting to the Director of Sales Development, you will be responsible for managing, coaching, and developing a team of SDRs to exceed pipeline goals and quotas. You’ll play a key role in shaping outbound prospecting strategies, optimizing workflows, and fostering a high-performance sales culture. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives on mentoring talent, leveraging data-driven insights, and collaborating closely with Sales leadership to drive revenue growth.

Our Sales Development team is responsible for generating a pipeline of opportunities through outbound outreach, partnering closely with our Sales organization. The Sales Development function is part of a rapidly growing business and the right candidate will be someone that understands how to apply the best practices of outbound prospecting to coach, train and mentor the SDR team to deliver at the highest level. 

What You’ll Do

  • Management: Oversee a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs); hire, onboard, and coach SDRs to become high performers.
  • Lead Generation: Own outbound lead generation and conversion rates throughout the sales funnel; predictably meet pipeline goals from outbound prospecting activities, including achieving monthly quotas for meetings booked and closed won business.
  • Client Engagement: Identify target customers for SevenRooms through email, phone, and social channels; ensure the team is maintaining active engagement through informed, creative follow-ups.
  • Reporting & Data Analysis: Own reporting for the SDR Team, driving and enhancing their performance by tracking relevant KPIs. Ensure a regular reporting cadence with relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Partner with Sales Leaders & Account Executives to foster an environment of true partnership.
  • Automation: Work with automation platforms such as Outreach.io and Salesforce, which play a crucial role in our data management and sales pipeline processes

Who You Are 

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Sales Development Manager role managing and growing SDR’s, ideally with a SaaS, recurring revenue focus.
  • Charismatic, high energy, an excellent people leader. You have passion and a track record building strong, overachieving SDR teams and progressing SDRs in the early stages of their sales career.
  • Experience onboarding, training, and mentoring to ensure you are developing team members' knowledge, skills, and confidence on an ongoing basis.
  • First-class people and communication skills. You need to be hands-on, motivate, and lead your team through the highs and lows of sales and changes in the Go-To-Market strategy.
  • Highly numerate and skilled with managing data sets. You value data and are not afraid to dive into metrics and spot insights to improve individual, and team performance.
  • You want to make a mark and are hungry to build a world-class SDR team. You’ll be proactive, taking the opportunity to collaborate and learn from your peers .
  • Experience using a variety of prospecting tools including; Outreach.io, ZoomInfo, Cognism, Gong, Salesforce.

  • Equitable compensation: Our compensation packages are based on competitive external market data. At SevenRooms, you can expect to be paid well for your contributions towards transforming the hospitality industry.     • Commission Eligible: The On-Target Earnings (Base Salary + Commission) range for this role is $129,000 – $145,000. This is the range SevenRooms in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed remotely in any US state. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also commission eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
