Overview:
Seismic transforms how organizations activate their go-to-market teams. We’re seeking a Senior Director of Enablement to design and lead an enablement strategy that not only drives performance across our GTM teams but also showcases the power of our own platform in action.As the leader of the functional enablement function, you will serve as a member of the Enablement Team’s senior leadership team. This role will oversee the design and execution of all functional enablement programs, including but not limited to, Skills & Coaching, Product Release, Onboarding, Competitive Insights, Persona and Industry positioning. The person in this role and their team will design and execute programs in collaboration with key business stakeholders and external providers and will interact with senior levels within the organization. The ideal candidate is a player-coach who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the evolving enablement tech landscape, and can drive measurable business impact through world-class enablement programs. In addition, the person in this role has good handle on the fast-evolving role of AI in enablement. You don’t need to be an absolute expert but you’re actively learning and experimenting, and you’ve got a vision for how a modern enablement team can best leverage AI to elevate efficiency and impact.This is a highly visible, strategic role that will partner closely with all areas of GTM (Sales, Customer Success and Services), Product, Product Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Talent.
Who you are:
- 12+ years of progressive experience in revenue or sales enablement, including 6+ years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven experience building and scaling successful enablement programs across the full GTM lifecycle in a SaaS, ideally enablement tech, environment.
- Deep understanding of modern enablement methodologies (e.g., skills-based enablement, buyer-centric messaging, outcome-based onboarding).
- Extensive experience with enablement platforms, ideally Seismic, having implemented them from scratch or grown the usage and adoption in a previous role
- Proven track record of aligning enablement to business goals with quantifiable success
- Exceptional executive communication and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.
- Experience leveraging AI and enablement technology (ideally Seismic) to drive internal enablement.
- Fluency with sales methodologies, sales process design, and field coaching.
- Experience with consistently delivering high-quality work in a high-paced, growth Startup environment or similar experience
Bonus Points For:
- Proven experience managing a GTM organization through large transformational programs, demonstrating expert change management strategy and execution
- Experience enabling technical GTM roles (e.g., solution engineering, technical account managers).
- MBA or advanced degree in organizational development, communications, or related fields.
- Thought leadership in enablement (e.g., speaking at conferences, contributing to industry content, etc.)
What you’ll be doing:
Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and own the end-to-end global enablement strategy for Seismic’s functional enablement offerings, ensuring that everything is role-relevant for our diverse GTM organization and aligns to strategic company initiatives
- Design, develop, and deliver world class learning programs that are harmonized for the field’s diverse experience levels and roles and drive behavior change and increase enablement and performance within GTM
- Partner with other Enablement Leadership Team members and cross functional partners to design and drive a cohesive end-to-end enablement strategy
- Act as an internal champion for AI-first enablement best practices and—showcasing how our own use of Seismic drives performance.
- Models adaptability and focus during times of rapid business change.
- Hire, lead, and develop a high-performing enablement team aligned to each functional enablement pillar.
- Bring expertise and willingness to build scalable frameworks and systems for operational excellence and scale.
- Masterfully leverage enablement metrics, engagement and survey data, cohort data, corporate analytics, revenue dashboards, and platform telemetry to benchmark and measure enablement program ROI.
- Build and present regular insights to executive leadership on program performance and impact on pipeline, revenue, and team productivity.
Functional Enablement Programs
Skills & Coaching
- Design role-based skill proficiency models across Sales, CS, and Pre-Sales and Services Teams.
- Oversee the launch and execution of manager-led coaching programs with clear success metrics.
- Thoughtfully drive Skills and Coaching Enablement throughout GTM’s day-to-day business rhythms that support top business goals like revenue attainment, customer retention, or product adoption.
- Partner with Revenue Leaders to reinforce selling excellence and skill development across all stages of the funnel, partnering with the Revenue Leaders to identify areas of strength and opportunity in Skill Development and Coaching
- Partner with Talent to operationalize Skills and Coaching performance management and reinforcement as needed
Product Release Enablement
- Create a strategic plan for enabling the field on multiple product launches during the year, including general product and technical enablement, working closely with Product Marketing and Product team.
- Ensure GTM teams can articulate differentiated value, use cases, and outcomes through the lens of customer pain points.
Onboarding & Everboarding
- Own the overall learning journey of every person across roles and offices in the GTM organization. This includes onboarding and continuous, sustained education and training for all roles.
- Build a high-impact onboarding experience that ramps new hires quickly and consistently, leveraging our own platform wherever possible.
- Drive “everboarding” strategies across all functional enablement offerings to reinforce continuous learning, with certification paths, live labs, and product/skills refreshers.
Persona & Industry Positioning
- In Partnership with Marketing, Sales, and Customer Insights teams, oversee the design and execution of persona and industry enablement programs
Ensure GTM teams have a deep understanding of industry use cases and buyer challenges, so they have effectively position Seismic and drive effective buying cycles with key personas and industries - Drive executive-level acumen and business value selling through workshops, toolkits, and field readiness campaigns.
- Partner with our Competitive Insights team to weave competitive intelligence programming into our Persona and Industry enablement as needed to ensure the field can effectively differentiate in competitive deals

Seismic’s annual base salary range for this position will vary based on applicant’s location, experience, job level, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and alignment market data.
The range listed below is the minimum to the maximum of our target hiring range.
Seismic’s salary range for this position is: $162,700 USD – $280,700 USD
This position is also eligible to participate in Seismic’s incentive plans in addition to base salary.
The actual incentive amount will very and will be subject to the terms and conditions set in the applicable incentive plan.
