Job Description

With 1,000 intelligence professionals, over $300M in sales, and serving over 1,900 clients worldwide, Recorded Future is the world’s most advanced, and largest, intelligence company!

We’re looking for a strategic, media-savvy communicator to lead global PR and communications at Recorded Future. In this role, you’ll shape how the world sees us — from product launches and research to executive visibility and corporate storytelling — all in the fast-moving world of cyber and geopolitical threats. You’ll own the full communications lifecycle: crafting messaging, managing media relationships, guiding crisis responses, and driving thought leadership. You’ll work closely with our CEO, exec team, researchers, product, legal, and marketing — and lead the partnership with our external PR agency to bring it all together.

What You’ll Do as Director, Corporate Communications:

  • Own the global communications strategy across business, tech, cybersecurity, and policy press
  • Drive high-impact announcements, thought leadership, and corporate storytelling
  • Develop narratives that connect product, corporate, and brand stories across all channels
  • Partner with executives, research, and product teams to amplify insights, launches, partnerships, and milestones
  • Prepare executives for media interviews, speaking engagements, and major industry events
  • Manage PR agency relationships, analyst connections, and press contacts to secure standout coverage
  • Secure tier-1 media placements in top business, technology, and cybersecurity outlets
  • Lead media training, message development, and briefing prep for senior leaders
  • Navigate crisis communications with confidence, maintaining brand trust and readiness
  • Maintain and evolve crisis communications playbooks for security incidents and reputational risks
  • Collaborate across marketing, HR, and legal to ensure unified messaging and protect reputation
  • Partner with HR to elevate the employer brand, support recruitment marketing, and showcase company culture
  • Monitor market sentiment, industry trends, and competitive narratives to identify opportunities and mitigate risks

What You’ll Bring as The Director, Corporate Communications:

  • 10+ years in communications, PR, or corporate affairs, ideally in cybersecurity, enterprise tech, or threat intelligence
  • Proven record securing tier-1 media coverage and building strong journalist and analyst relationships
  • Expertise in narrative development, executive communications, and thought leadership
  • Experience in crisis communications and advising senior leadership during high-stakes moments
  • Exceptional writing skills to translate complex cybersecurity topics into clear, compelling stories
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and effective under tight deadlines
  • Skilled at managing agencies, coordinating cross-functional partners, and balancing multiple initiatives
  • Familiarity with major industry events (e.g., RSA, Black Hat) and PR tools (e.g., MuckRack, PR Newswire)
  • Knowledge of security regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) a plus

Note: This role is expected to maintain a regular in-office presence.
