Job Summary
The Warehouse Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and accurate operations within our warehouse. This position requires a hands-on presence at our third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse at least two days per week to oversee shipments, monitor refurbishment workflows, and identify opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and driven to improve processes and ensure operational excellence.
Location: Chicago, IL
Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite / 2 days at home weekly
What You’ll Do
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality standards.
- Help resolve any shipment issues (e.g. missing packages, package delays, special delivery requests).
- Track packaging inventory levels and ensure timely re-ordering.
- Evaluate current workflows and assist in developing clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to improve efficiency and consistency.
- Identify bottlenecks or inefficiencies and recommend process improvements.
- Generate reports and provide data-driven insights to Director of Warehouse Operations.
- Oversee and execute refurbishment processes for returned devices.
- Maintain refurbishment area cleanliness and ensure proper handling procedures are followed.
- Work closely with technical teams to report and troubleshoot recurring device issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting any refurbishment hardware issues.
- Coordinate movement of devices to hardware lab and ensure organization of space.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams including IT, customer support, and procurement.
What We Need
- 3+ years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or operations coordination.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and reporting.
- Proven ability to develop SOPs and implement process improvements.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to be onsite at Warehouse in suburban Chicagoland area up to 3 days a week
