Maven has assembled a world-class team from Google, Meta, Amazon, and Stripe, and is supported by executives & advisors from OpenAI, Google, HubSpot, and Stripe.
Position Overview:
As a MidMarket Sales Manager at Maven AGI, you’ll drive our expansion in the mid-market segment, leading a team of Account Executives who are reshaping how businesses interact with their customers through AI.
You’ll help build and lead a high-performing team of AEs, helping them close deals while maintaining healthy pipelines and strong customer relationships. You can make your mark on a rapidly growing company while helping define the future of AI-powered customer interactions.
This is a hybrid position based out of our Boston, MA office.
What You’ll Do:
- Build and execute a focused mid-market sales strategy that drives consistent revenue growth
- Set clear performance expectations and help your team consistently hit their numbers
- Track and measure key sales metrics, including pipeline generation, win rates, and sales cycle length
- Work with AEs to develop effective account strategies and coach them through complex sales cycles
- Support the implementation of sales programs that help your AEs master our solution and sales process
- Participate in strategic sales calls to better understand customer challenges and refine our approach
- Partner with Solutions Engineering and Customer Experience teams to ensure smooth handoffs and successful customer implementations
- Work with Product and Marketing to ensure our offerings meet customer requirements
- Use data to optimize territory planning and account distribution among your AEs
- Build a positive, high-energy sales culture that attracts and retains top talent
Requirements
Who You Are:
- 5+ years of sales management experience, with at least 3 years leading mid-market focused teams in high-growth companies
- A record of consistently achieving team revenue targets
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities
- Data-driven approach to sales management
- Experience selling complex SaaS solutions
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
Benefits
Compensation:
This position offers total on-target earnings (OTE) of $320,000 when achieving performance targets. There are no caps on commissions. Top performers have the potential to exceed target earnings through our performance-based commission plan.
